We booked Chilgrove Farm Bed and Breakfast for 2 nights for 2 couples as we were attending a wedding nearby and we couldn't have selected a better place - Both rooms were large and spacious ,clean and had everything you needed including TV ,tea and coffee and toiletries 
. 
The large double bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had both a bath and separate shower and there was a fridge in the room .

We also did several circular walks starting at Chilgrove Farm and their are plenty of  options for the walks but all the views were  fantastic .We managed to walk up to the Devils Humps with incredible views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight.

There is plenty of parking on site as well .

Simon our host was incredible -not only did he cook a fantastic breakfast , but as we couldnt get a taxi to pick us up from the wedding reception he very kindly offered his services . He was a lovely host and had loads of suggestions and ideas on what to do in the area. There is also a local pub which is a 10 minute walk away which served lovely food and had both indoor and outdoor seating .

I would highly recommend Chilgrove Farm and I will definitely return .

Fantastic Location

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of Sept.  We chose this accommodation as we had planned visits to Chichester Festival Theatre to see South Pacific and Weald and Downland Living Museum where The Repair Shop is filmed. A couple of days before we arrived, Simon the owner rang me to say he’d just come home from hospital and wouldn’t be able to cook us breakfast. This wasn’t an issue as there were plenty of places close by in Chichester.
The 2 rooms we had were very spacious and Simon and his partner were perfect hosts.
If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is the place to stay

Summer staycation 2021

We wanted to get away for a few days, somewhere peaceful. Fell in love with the area after watching The Repair Shop. 
Chilgrove B&B is nestled in beautiful countryside.  But so many interesting places to visit a short drive away.  Just spent 4 nights there and will seriously consider another stay next year. 
Simon is a friendly host and cooks a wonderful breakfast. 
The room was huge, with huge comfortable bed, sofa, TV and fridge stocked with bottled water every day.
Tray with coffee, tea bags and milk.
Thank you Simon we really enjoyed our stay and it was lovely to meet you.

Relaxing break away

Rooms very spacious.  Breakfasts excellent.  Thank you Simon for your hospitality.  We can definitely recommend.  We attended a wedding but will come back to explore the area soon, hopefully in some sunshine

Excellent food and service

There is nothing not to like.

We were in the courtyard, not the house. The room was enormous. So spacious and well serviced.

The bed is larger than a king size and very comfortable. Quilt is light and pillows also good.

The bathroom is exceptional with a fantastic walk-in shower.

The host, Simon, is helpful, relaxed and a delight to talk to. He makes a lovely breakfast.

The views are breathtaking.

I was bowled over by this find.  It really is superb.

Stunning

Two nights of comfort with excellent breakfasts to boot!  Love the seclusion and locale. Moreover, spoilt with a walk-in shower & enormous bath. Beautiful countryside. And a splendid, sociable and considerate host, Simon. Thank you for a pleasant stay.  

Excellent find!

A peaceful and tranquil location. Perfect for a relaxing break away from the pressures of normal life. We spent 2 nights in Room 1 in the annexe which was a very spacious, huge room, that had a large and comfortable bed. It had a fabulous bathroom with deep bath and a powerful shower - everything that you need. Breakfast in the mornings was great with tasty food, and a fantastic host in Simon, who would join us for a coffee and a chat. Overall a lovely place to relax and unwind. Would highly recommend this place especially if going to Goodwood.

Weekend break in the country

We decided to escape the city for a weekend, and we’re glad we chose Chilgrove. 
Set in beautiful countryside, Chilgrove Farm B&B is perfect if country walks, bike rides & pub lunches are your thing. 
Rooms are spacious and the bathrooms have heated flooring. 
The White Horse pub is a lovely pub, ten minutes walk away. 
Simon, the owner is very welcoming and helpful, always on hand if you need anything like maps, tips on walking routes, dinner bookings and organising taxis. He also makes a great full English!

Escape to the Country

Stayed here one night on a business trip in one of the very well appointed stable rooms.  Simon was immensely welcoming and very friendly and allowed me to drop my things off very early which was kind.  The room is very spacious and comfortable with good wi-fi and the bathroom has a walk-in shower as well as a good-sized bath.  The windows look out across fields and towards a nearby hill and it is hugely peaceful with just the sound of birds and the odd horse (a few in the fields). Gorgeous to wake up to a pheasant in high summer.  Breakfast too was superb.  All round, highly recommended.

Lovely, peaceful setting

Totally gorgeous place! Beautiful location - right in the middle of authentic countryside - very tranquil area with lots of lovely peaceful walks with amazing scenery nearby... and surrounded by horses fields and quiet country lanes. Very large rooms with extremely comfortable huge beds, walk in showers as well as large baths and underfloor heating in the bathrooms. Plenty of facilities in the rooms - good amount of teas, coffees, refreshing spring waters and shortcake biscuits too! Sky Tv and a DVD player plus free wi fi. Loved the chairs and tables outside the annex which meant that my sister and our families could put our 2 year olds safely to bed and then enjoy a drink or two in peace and quiet right outside our room doors! Breakfast was amazing and vast in the morning - included unlimited cereals and toast, fruit etc plus a beautifully cooked English breakfast with plenty of food to satisfy the appetite. All served in the authentic farm house kitchen by a very friendly host. In fact, nothing was too much trouble for Simon who provided extra sheets for the travel cot, safety pins for my son's christening outfit and even lent my dad his electric razor when he had forgotten his! Thank you so much Simon! Highly recommended... Hopefully we will return one day!
