Came across The Case on Booking.com as we were playing golf nearby for two days and needed somewhere to stay. What an amazing find. A lovely couple run this establishment (with their granddaughter as waiting staff) who have put in years of devotion and it shows in the set up of this venue. Dinner was excellent with a set menu at a great price ( as well as other choices including tapas style dishes) and a good wine list. 
Looking forward to breakfast as know it will set us up well for our day of golf. Can’t wait for an excuse to come back. 

What a fabulous find!

Had a lovely family meal here. There was something for everyone and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely try and come back again one day. Thankyou

The Case is run by an extraordinary couple who love what they do and this reflects in the service and genuine hospitality I experienced. All the food is exceptional and a Case breakfast will set you up for the day with a smile on your face. 
Fresh orange juice,lovely leaf tea, real rashers with mushrooms that are pure magic.They make their own bread and toast it with parallel burn lines the maximizes the flavor, taste and smell.
When the food is ready to be served, the Ship's bell will toll and prepare to be impressed !

We stayed 2 nights and it was wonderful. The owners are lovely and so welcoming. Food was delicious beyond belief. Both the breakfast and dinner are of such a high standard while very reasonably priced. The jacuzzi bath was really great to relax in. Room was big and had everything we needed and more. Even a golf umbrella for when we went out on a rainy day trip. Can't recommend highly enough and hope to stay again!

Lovely stay for a homely welcome and much needed rest.

We had a wonderful overnight stay with dinner and breakfast here.
Our premiere room was spacious and comfortable with a fabulous jacuzzi bathtub .
Linda was a brilliant host, a genuinely lovely lady, she certainly made our stay outstanding.
So pleased we found this little bolt hole ,we will be back .

Fantastic Stay

Had lunch here after visiting locally. Haven’t been for a while but was greeted by the same friendly lady owner who is front of house. Husband runs the kitchen and food is always tasty, fresh and inventive. Very big portions so no room for the homemade cake! 
Deli alongside restaurant has lots of interesting produce.

Consistently good

Had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Case, the hosts are wonderful people, they make sure everything is how you like it. Biscuits and treats the in the rooms , fantastic breakfasts, rooms spotlessly clean.

I travelled on my own and it's always a worry here I felt like I was coming home , I was very sad when I had to leave I could live here all year !!!

Absolutely fantastic definately visit again

We had originally planned to stay at a hotel nearby but realised that we had not actually made the booking! We were going to see Ed Sheeran and needed accommodation overnight. We found that The Case had a room available. When we arrived the lovely lady on reception showed us to our room which was large, had a patio with a view of the countryside and even a jacuzzi bath.  There was a restaurant/tearoom and a little shop/deli which sold many Italian and Spanish foods. 

We treated ourselves to a slice of the most delicious homemade Victoria sponge before we left for the concert. 

The concert was amazing! We slept very well in our room as it was so quiet. The breakfast included exceeded our expectations. The English breakfast and homemade granola were exceptionally good. The granola was presented like an ice cream sundae and included every possible fruit imaginable. 

We were so glad that we had not booked the other hotel as The Case is a real gem. We would definitely recommend it to all! 

Overnight stay for Ed Sheeran concert

Myself and my husband stayed here last night . We was greeted with a very warm welcome by Linda . The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The evening meal we had was excellent the food was cooked perfectly the best sweet potato fries I have ever had . The breakfast we had in the morning was excellent., we both had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.  Well worth the money. We ill definitely go back .

Fabulous food.

Our room was one of a row with own front door set at back of restaurant overlooking garden and countryside beyond. Very peaceful and our room had french doors onto lovely patio and seating area where we sat with a glass of wine and watched the rabbits (I think all the rooms had an outside area but not all with french doors). The welcome was wonderful and made our stay, they could not have looked after us better. Rooms lovely and clean and very comfy.
