Had an absolutely amazing stay in the yurt which was upgraded for us completely free of charge. Was so cozy with everything you could possibly need (there was even dressing gowns!). The whole accommodation had so much attention to detail with there being a games room which included a pool table and darts board, the shower was inside as well as the toilets. There was a shared space to be able to eat with others which worked well for us as we went in a group so could all eat breakfast together. There was also many barbecues which we could use as well as a pizza oven. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and wish I could've stayed for longer! The continental breakfast was delicious with fresh, warm croissants, bread, cereal, milk, orange juice, blueberries, bananas and yogurts. Plenty of tea, coffee and sugar in the room for us to use, as well as some cookies and chocolate. I couldn't recommend this place enough, especially in the yurt!

Had an absolutely amazing stay!

Just returned from a 2-night stay in a Yurt which was absolutely fabulous, in a very quaint and peaceful setting with excellent facilities. The yurt was quite spacious with lovely decor, a comfortable bed, and clean bedding.  Having breakfast served in a basket every morning was a real treat. Emma, the host was brilliant! Emma, thank you for making our stay so wonderful.  

I would definitely recommend staying at this accommodation for a relaxing stay. 

Relaxing Memorable  Experience 

What a wonderful 2 day stay in the yurt, perfect in every way. Comfortable, clean, many facilities. Every detail thought about to make the stay a special experience. Wonderful fresh continental breakfast delivered every morning in a basket by Emma, the lovely host. Highly recommend. Hope to stay again. Thank you very much to the hosts. 

Wonderful relaxing stay in a luxury yurt!

This is a little piece of heaven. So peaceful and such a beautiful setting. Emma was an absolutely brilliant host from booking through to the visit. She couldn’t have been more helpful.
We stayed in the yurt which had everything you needed and was close to the facilities. Kitchen facilities great if you needed them and bathroom facilities clean and well kept. 
The breakfast was a really pleasant surprise with so much provided. I really don’t think we could have asked for more.

A little piece of heaven

What a beautiful family run business. The cottage is beautiful the surroundings are beautiful very cute private settings .. the showers bathrooms were shared but it’s very modern clean . This did not put me off at all .. We stayed in the alfred lodge it was very cute the decor is fresh vintage the white bedding and pillows bed was lovely.  What got us was the most was the continental breakfast being brought at a time to suits you in a basket full of very yummy fruit juices croissants, sourdough, bread cereal, yoghurts .. you have your own table and chairs fire pit . There was a fridge inside too . Everything you needed was there ..

Beautiful setting

Emma our host was very welcoming and helpful. We had a 2-night stay in the yurt and had a lovely peaceful and relaxing stay and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to visit. 

The picnic basket breakfasts were generous and delicious with warm croissants, cereal, yoghurts, strawberries and bananas as well as bread for toasting!

Idyllic stay in Somerset

We stayed here on the way to Cornwall for 1 night and I was amazed with how beautiful the Shepard's Hut and facilities were. Emma the host went above and beyond and I cannot thank her enough for making us so comfortable, welcome and relaxed. Emma is such a natural host and you can really tell she really loves what she does. The Shepard’s hut was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. There was an espresso machine which was a lovely bonus. Blankets if you wanted to sit on the porch and a little fridge which came in handy. The bed and linen were very good quality and extremely comfortable. I cannot fault a thing! Lovely outside area with a games barn, pizza oven, fire and a  little dining area with a fridge fall of water and utensils surrounded by fresh rosemary bushes. The breakfast hamper was incredible. From the warm croissants to the fresh fruit it was delicious. Emma really made it a special stay and I will be returning as soon as I can!! Thank you Emma and looking forward to returning! 1 night was not enough!

Absolute hidden gem!

We stayed in one of the shepherds huts, brilliant and snug set in a great garden, with a BBQ / pizza area, the games room also a great idea. it was just a shame we only had one night - would have loved to stay longer, but will come back.

A wonderful place of tranquility

Fantastic stay. We stayed in the Yurt for 2 nights, which was great, cosy, quiet/peaceful and had everything you could need and more, even down the nespresso machine for your morning coffee out on the deck. From the moment we arrived, our host had been fantastic, nothing has been a bother for her. The continental breakfast was lovely and way more than I expected. Little England Retreats has so many amenities for your stay. Can't recommend this lovely place enough. Emma you were great and thank you so much for our fantastic stay. 

Fantastic stay!! 

What a lovely hidden gem this place is! Unfortunately we only stayed for one night as we were having a dog meet nearby, wish we'd have booked another night! We stayed in the yurt with our pooch & there was plenty of room. It was bright, clean and spacious. It was kitted out with all the requirements for glamping & there's also a shared indoor seating/dining area if you wish to use it. Slept very well & woke up to an amazing breakfast delivered to our yurt, consisting of freshly baked warm croissants, bread, yoghurt, fruit, juice, etc. all delivered in a basket. Really wonderful breakfast as is Emma the host. Would definitely recommend Little England Retreats & if we're in the area again we'd not hesitate to stay here again.
