My partner and I recently had our wedding reception and evening party at Toft. We had been planning for around 1 year and from start to finish everything ran smoothly and the team at Toft have been fantastic. Our wedding organiser Michael helped us at all stages and guided us through the big day always being available when we wanted to meet to discuss progress being made.
I stayed in the bridal suite the night before and on the night which is a very spacious room looking out at the golf course which made for a lovely photo once ready. 
We could not fault Michael and the Toft team on the day - absolutely everything went to plan. The food was amazing and the room looked beautiful. Our friends and family commented on how well everything went.
A lovely wedding venue that will offer you everything you need in preparation for the big day as well as the day itself!

I recently had a Valentine’s Day meal at toft and the food was lovely, service was great and in a good venue in Lincolnshire to eat out, I would highly recommend. The golf course is also in very good condition with challenging holes and fantastic greens. So overall I would highly recommend.

Great food, good golf course.

Three of us visited for afternoon tea today, what a lovely experience!  The food was very fresh and extremely tasty, an endless supply of tea and a very attentive waitress. They are very happy to cater for different dietary needs. I would definitely recommend.

Afternoon tea

This hotel is set in a lovely location in the countryside opposite the golf course 5minutes from Bourne & 10minutes from Stamford and is dog friendly.
We stayed in one of the courtyard rooms beautifully furnished and clean the bathroom shower was fantastic everything you would need is supplied in the room except hand soap on sink but toiletries for shower were supplied and also hair dryer and ironing board &iron also lovely thick fluffy towels also hospitality tray with range of coffees & teas.
The breakfast was excellent and a good choices as was evening meals.
The car parking was good also the grounds surrounding the hotel were lovely and very well kept plenty of outside seating areas with lovely lighting outside in the evening.
We went into Bourne on first day a lovely town with variety of shops cafes restaurants and pubs and a nice park for dog walkers with water running around it plenty of benches to relax & willow trees to sit under with a picnic on.
Stamford the next day had a Victorian steam punk festival on lots to see &enjoy with lovely stalls set around the streets. There are many shops in Stamford churches and plenty to do even a theatre. Again plenty of cafes & restaurants. We stopped for a crepe & coffee at a dog friendly cafe called Cafe Au Chocolaite and the crepes were delicious.
We would definitely return.


A Hidden Gem

We have been holding our annual golf society meeting at this hotel for the past 27 years, over that time we have seen owner come and go. The new owner has a polite, enthusiastic and professional team under him, who do their utmost to make your stay enjoyable. The food was very well prepared and presented and the waiters/waitresses were excellent. Brent, who look after us in the bar was very polite, helpful and indeed patient with 12 high spirited guests... sorry!
Despite the dreadful weather running up to our stay the golf course was in excellent condition and a joy to play.
I would highly recommend a visit and am sure you would not be disappointed.
Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing you all again next June.

27th Annual Golf Society Meeting

My Daughter bought me a buy a gift break and Toft Country house looked nice. 
Staff were helpful and friendly, room was a really good size and clean, we had a full breakfast each morning that was delicious. The only thing that has stopped me giving full marks was that our room had a really weird smell, my Husband thought it was the fact that it is an old building, it was quite musty. We kept the windows open while we were there which isn't particularly energy efficient but was the only way to keep it under control! I would stay again however would probably ask if we could have one of the annexes next to main building!

Mini break away!

Visited today for afternoon tea package with family and the food was delicious. Very fresh sandwiches, lovely salmon bagels and delicious homemade scones which were warm. Vegan option also on the cakes which was a nice touch. 
What let it down slightly was the slightly tired surroundings. It felt a little like an 'old mans pub' when you walked in and the restaurant room we sat in lacked atmosphere. It's a shame it was so quiet and the fire wasn't on and roaring. Aside from that though, we had a lovely visit and the food made up for the tired feel. Staff also great and very attentive.

Lovely afternoon Tea

Complained due to poor food, had a great email from Simon who outlined the improvements that had been made.  Food vastly improved.  The pastry pie was excellent and we had portion of veg that had been missing on our previous visit. Thank you Simon.

What an improvement 

Visited for an afternoon tea treat. First impressions were how lovely, such a beautiful old property. We were welcomed by the waitress and shown to our table. The tea arrived fairly quickly as did the sandwiches. All lovely and fresh and I had emailed our preferences which were adhered to. Next the cakes and Elton Mess in small glasses, again beautifully fresh and tasty. We weren’t offered top ups for our drinks but when I asked for more this was brought quickly. We thought it was all over and started to put our coats on to leave only to find we were being brought scones! So we sat down again and enjoyed the lovely warm scones. We did think maybe a menu in the table would help and prevent people leaving before it was actually over as the gap was quite lengthy hence why we went to leave. The menu is maybe online but we had not looked. A lovely experience, thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you Toft Country House. 



Pleasant experience 

We stayed at this charming establishment whilst attending a family wedding nearby. Other guests at the Wedding were also using the Hotel at the same time. We liked the place and remarked on the contrast between the main building and its various extensions. It is true to state that, to us, the original part of  the building needed updating. The fittings and various surfaces in our lovely bedroom looked old and in need of total refurbishment. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and we had an excellent nights sleep. The service at breakfast was excellent and all of the staff friendly. Another major plus for us was it’s location in a lovely part of the Country.
