The manager is the best I have ever dealt with and the staff are so attentive nothing is too much trouble, the rooms are clean and tidy and the breakfast is excellent with a choice of cereals full english breakfast and coffee or tea with juice. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough thank you for a great stay

Excellent stay

We have just returned home from a excellent 1st time stay at south beach hotel.Manager Sam very pleasant helpful nothing was too much trouble hotel was full and  hotel was close to everything beach trams busses takeaways pleasure beach.Hotel rooms fantastic clean  bed very comfortable nice relaxing chairs to sit in room and relax.Tv kettle tea coffee sugar milk. Great seaview rooms.Showers brilliant.Excellent breakfast with great choice continental and full english. very Comfortable and large dinning area. Kitchen spotless We was able to sit outside and relax. Great bar area and service at bar. Couldn't fault  anything atall.Great choice of drinks. We was also well looked after very well by all staff. We would like to thankyou all  so much for making our stay a  happy and very pleasant one you were all amazing keep up the good work Sam  Darius,Gary.Jade,and the house mades and cleaners. We would highly recomened we have been going to blackpool for many years and we must say south beach hotel we will definitly be returning.We had friends of ours book in for 1 night and they enjoyed their stay too and was also made to feel very welcome they loved it too We went as guest and left making some lovely friends that made us feel like family great big welldone. Fantastic hotel highly recommend 100%

Visited the south beach for a midweek break with the wife for a four night stay. Upon arrival we were met by Angela who was warm and welcoming from the start bearing in mind we was two hours early for check in which wasn't a problem for her .After we had got settled in our room which was everything you would wish for comfy bed very tidy room and all essentials you would need .We spent a good time in the bar talking to Sam the husband of Angela you could not meet a more friendly and welcoming host we had an amazing time during our stay which was made even better by Sam and Angela's professional and friendly manner  The breakfasts were lovely and choice enough for anyone . Wish we had found this place to stay years ago .

Loved it

We booked the South Beach Hotel b&b has it is about half way between South & middle piers.
Plus breakfast and free parking was included in the price.
On arrival we were greeted by Sam & Angela the owner of South Beach we were made to feel welcome and everything was explained to us about the hotel and are room would be ready by 12.30 pm. Which was unexpected has you normally have to book in after 15.00 pm so this was a bonus has we arrival about 10.30. We park the car up for the weekend. 
We booked a double room with sea views we were not disappointed we had room 15 on the first floor looking right across to the beach.
The room itself was nice and clean plenty of room for all are belonging  plus tea & coffee supplied.
The bed was nice and firm just like a like it very comfortable and slept like a log.
Next breakfast was 8.30 to 9.30 am the breakfast itself was buffet style which I thought was great has you can help yourself to what ever you wanted. 
Breakfast has below 
Tea & coffee & juices 
Toast & jam marmalade & cereals 
Then a full English breakfast to follow 
Eggs bacon sausage hash brown mushrooms 
Bakebean. You can have has much has you want set's you up for the day.
There is also a bar serving everything and prices are with in keeping with prices in Blackpool.
The place itself is well looked after and sam & Angela make you feel like it's home from home very welcoming also if you need anything they will try to sort it for you.
Ask them anything about Blackpool and they will give you all the information you require.
So to sum up I would recommend the South Beach Hotel b&b to family and friends and relatives if they ever visit Blackpool you will have a great time here will definitely book here again with no problem. Thanks Sam & Angela for a great weekend.

Great weekend

A wonderful bed and breakfast stay in Blackpool.

Upon arrival we were a little apprehensive as too what to expect. We need not have worried, those few moments entering the hall and into the lounge, being warmly and genuinely greeted as if we were returning old acquaintances, combined with the friendly banter as we were checked in,  we knew then that this was the "B and B" for us. 

The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean, with plenty of storage to unload the visits' suitcase and toiletries.

Breakfast was more than ample with a great choice of juices, cereals, jams, toast, tea and coffee all on offer. Now onto the cooked breakfast which was the "crème de la crème" in terms of choice, quantity and quality. We were never rushed which is a rarity these days, we could help ourselves to all that was on offer, as much or as little as we wanted.

The guests were great, and the few we talked too and shared the lounge with were genuinely friendly.

Lastly but not least, the hosts, nothing too much trouble, genuinely warm and funny. The humour and banter alone was priceless. We got the impression they cared about the guests and their stay. 
We were made more than welcome by all at this real, genuine, and wonderful bed and breakfast.

A wonderful bed and breakfast stay in Blackpool.

The location is nearer to the pleasure beach than it is to the tower and town centre.  The staff were very friendly and engaging.  We only stayed for a weekend but from the minute we arrived we were treated as though we had there for a long time.  The breakfast was served between 8am and 9.30am, you had a choice of cereal, cooked breakfast or toast.  
There was plenty of tea / coffee in the rooms with more available if required.
The car park on the front was easy to park on, due to the way the cars are parked, you have to leave your car keys if you go out (not in your car).
If you have a room on the front if can get a bit noisy with the traffic.
There is no air conditioning as it is an old building.

Weekend away

Stayed for 4 nights with my mum and son. Really welcoming and friendly. Hosts very warm and chatty. 
Room was spacious and spotless, little dated but really comfy. Breakfast good. 
Really good location, easy walk or tram to everything we wanted.  
It's our second stay and will stay again.

Really friendly

Lovely stay staff very friendly and made us feel very welcome rooms could do with little update but was clean and had comfy bed breakfast was nice also, do nice pint in the bar lol, i had lovely veiw off sea, walking distance from the fair and shops so thanks to sam and staff

Room with a view

We found this b&b  when looking for a last minute break.  The price was very reasonable for a prom b&b  we paid an extra £10 to park the car for a week which was fair.

Breakfasts were good.  Rooms are clean I would suggest blackout curtains though,  trying to get a 2 year old to sleep was a challenge as it was still quite light.

I would come back here it's a great location good Breakfast to set you up for the day. 

Great find on the prom 

If you are looking for a reasonable priced, basic, clean hotel, then this is the place to go. Situated on the prom, up near the pleasure beach.  Stayed with my husband for a weekend in July, found this place on the internet and decided to book it.  The owner Sam told us he only bought it at the beginning of the year, and hasnt had chance to start upgrading things, but he has certainly made an impression with his breakfast.  Cereal was Kellogg's,  not cheap brands.  Fruit juice, tea, coffee and fruit. The full english was amazing, with plenty of toast cooked to order.  We would definitely stay here again.  We were made to feel welcome from the very beginning by his son and staff, to the very end when we were leaving.  Limited parking is also available on the front.
