Just got back from Blackpool and stayed at the sunrise could not find a fault with it room was spotless clean very warm inside as you would like this time of year with the children cannot fault it at all ideal location so close to everything would recommend this place to any family and will be looking to book up again next year only 1 thing still waiting for my receipt of payment young lady that let us in said you had ran out of receipt paper overall very good

They were inflexible, unsympathetic and were eager to simply cancel our booking because we would arrive after the check in time. Which was due to us coming up from London after a 3 hour journey, having worked and collecting kids from school. They refused to issue a refund, and didn't care that we had no where to stay, even though we were bringing 4 children for a special 1 day trip to Blackpool. We booked in advance specifying our check in time at the time of booking and they were happy to keep the money despite not providing a service and disappointing young kids. We have been left out of pocket which we couldn't afford and they happily bragged that Booking.com would support them regardless.

Don't bother, extremley poor Customer Service for a hotel that claims to be ideal for families

Me, my partner and our children stayed here for 1 night this weekend. The room on first glance was lovely, spotless and very cosy looking. The black interior and sleek bathroom was very modern and perfect for our treat night away for the kids. This is pretty much where it ended, the kids LOVED their own little space with 2 bunk beds and the tele (can't fault any of that) but in our part of the room and the bathroom? my partner in the process of getting changed nearly put someone else's sock on (Black kangol one to be precise if anyone's missing one? - ewww!) The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, i mean i didn't realise that radiators could get so dirty and that's before having to look through the mirror at what looked like someone elses toothpaste and water splashes! Anyways these are minor issues. The worst part was after being out in the evening with the kids we came back to the hotel wet through and cold wanting to get warm and settled for the night. Again  the kids beds etc were brill - our bed however reclined back (not supposed to) at a 90 degree angle, our feet were higher that our heads at one point! My partner and i moved the mattress off to see if the bed was broke, we couldnt suss it out but it was full of dust and dirt below it. It was too late in the evening to complain so we just left it and laid in bed nearly upside down like a set of bats all night long. There's no bar or anywhere you can get food. There's no iron or hairdryer. It's literally just a room my partner paid £100 + £50 dep for which is extremely expensive for what it was. Stick to your travel lodges and premier inn guys 👍

Batman and Batgirl 🦇

Stayed here at the weekend, 2 adults and 2 young children and we were in room 6. The room was clean, not spotless but clean and tidy. Bed comfortable but a bit squeaky. Kids slept well in the bunk beds. Bathroom and room both modern. Check in was easy as the owner was here checking other guests in when we landed but I think you usually call the number on the door and they will come round to check you in from their other hotel. No parking, bar, breakfast or communal area but the location was the most important thing for us, literally 2 streets from the pleasure beach. The house that's joined on had some unsavory looking residents but we felt secure enough as the hotel had 2 entry doors with 2 separate keys. Thanks for a pleasant stay, we will recommend and will return. We might try your other hotel in the future too, if you could let me know the name of it that would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Happy with our stay!

Stayed here before for a charity football game, 3 lads.everything spot on for what we needed but this time it was a joke. Checked in, took our money and showed us to our room without a problem. We went off to a local pub when I received a phone call to say they wanted us to leave, so we returned to the hotel. Told us to get out because we are a group of lads then that changed to leave because we are rangers fans 😂 I’d advise anybody to look elsewhere as these jokers are a bunch of cheeky individuals. Joke

Owner/Manager, named Jenny as far as I can recall, was a thoroughly obnoxious individual to deal with. We requested and paid up front for a double room but instead, we were given a twin room. This in itself was no major issue as we had only booked one night. The disgusting state of the room, however, was a different matter. One of the single beds had blood staining on the mattress and the other had what appeared to be dried faecal matter on the headboard. The coffee cups were badly stained and there was an inch of filth coating the skirting boards. When we politely complained "Jenny" was offhand and suggested that our expectations of cleanliness were unrealistic. She furthered this by shouting "If you consider yourselves to be royalty then you should have booked a room at Buckingham Palace'
We were told that no other room would be made available and no refund would be issued. As the room was uninhabitable in its current state, we decided to cut our losses and leave. Thankfully, we had only booked one night and we were able to secure accommodation at late notice with The Craimar, whose staff and accommodation were an absolute delight. In short, avoid this place like the plague as there is a high possibility of you catching said disease or similar should you spend the night here.

Terrible Service, Filthy Accommodation

Thank you for a great stay, hotel was clean and rooms spotless.
Fresh towel bedding ect, showers were great as well.
Wished it had bar or pool table but all in all ideal stop over.
Parking outside hotel was decent but as you know can be hit and miss for all hotels.
Rooms quiet and we all had good night's sleep.
Thank you for our stay and next footy game we shall be back.

we were greeted by a lady who claimed she was the owner.. dreadful lady called Jenny.. told us it was £10 to park on a car park.. nothing mentioned on there website, but for one night we could park at her other hotel. not what you want after a long drive.. we stopped in room 6.. the bed was so creaky lumpy and uncomfortable it would of been more comfy on the floor.. next morning I spoke to Jenny and said I wasnt happy as the bed was terrible and not even a matress protecter on the bed.. he reply was it's a new mattress.. I was absolutely gutted and said I was un happy and will be going home.. her reply was go home then.. not even an apology. disgusting attitude.. I would tell the whole world not to stop there.. and to top the lot the cups were filthy.. and the matress was far from new.. cheap and tacky  also what sort of a person leaves a voice message to say they have stripped my 2.5 year old daughter's bed with urine on it.. vile woman.. also owns Alfies in Blackpool.. AVOID!!!!! shame on you jenny
