I think this Hotel is awesome Kate does a wonderful job she is always around for for help I've visited The FairVeiw Hotel twice with my partner now and each time I loved it I'll be going bck again a 3rd time next year with my partner&Family well done kate thanks for the wonderful service and p.s for all those Bad Mouths I think yous need to think again Kate's Hotel is outstanding thanking you again kate see you soon :-)

Stayed for two nights on our annual Blackpool weekend with a few of our family. We found the hotel to be comfortable and clean The free parking was a bonus . Kate the landlady was very friendly, providing a lovely bottle of wine when she found out we were celebrating my sister in law birthday . We had a great time and I would like to thank Kate for making our stay very pleasurable. 

Lovely Hotel

We just spent the Easter bank holiday in Blackpool and stayed at the Fairview.
We arrived at the hotel early to miss the traffic,despite this the owner (kate) gave us a warm welcome and advised we could check in as our room was ready. That was great and not expected. check in took all of 2 minutes. Kate  kindly moved her car so we could have her spot as we have a big car. We stayed in room 8, it was gorgeous, everything matched and it was super clean, the bed was really comfy and there was plenty of storage for clothes. The bathroom was a little on the small side but it had a shower,sink and toilet, as well as complimentary shower gel and shampoo and plenty towels, and hot water, what more do you need.  Kate was very chatty,lovely and kind anything you needed you just had to ask, although we did not take any children with us Kate gave all the children staying there an easter egg, (lovely idea). The bar was lovely and cosy although we did not have a drink in there. We had breakfast at the hotel which was also lovely and it was a nice amount, cereal,full english, jam n toast and.tea or coffee. The whole hotel is beautiful, the rooms are amazing no expense has been spared on the decor or furniture, (we had a peek at room 4 and room 10, wow) Kate works very hard with the upkeep of this hotel and does a sterling job, we are so glad we stayed here and will definitely be back. Do not let the negative comments that have been left, put you off this hotel. (some people just like to moan) You would be a fool not to stay. Thanks Kate. we had a wonderful stay in blackpool. FABULOUS

This is a great place to stay at - cosy, clean and with a good location. Kate, the owner, is extremely nice and helpful. When I arrived in Blackpool, I realized that the hotel I had originally booked went bankrupt in the meantime and Kate found me a room in her hotel on extremely short notice on a busy weekend and furthermore helped me to get my money back which I had already paid for the other place. She will make you feel right at home and cooks up a great breakfast, too. Highly recommended.

Parking advertised as included in the price. 15 mins before arrival told parking full. No chance to book at all. Host rude over the phone. Don’t waste time or money!! Awful!

Disgusting place

How do I even start? Steep stairs that caused issues with luggage, ripped wallpaper, dirty windowsills, out-dated furniture, funky room smell and a bathroom in a wardrobe on a step. Yes, a bathroom in a wardrobe. This “bathroom” did not have any proper doors but a wooden door with lined gaps which clearly doesn’t provide privacy to guests. It is literally the Hotel of Horrors. Although I have addressed many issues, booking.com still refers to it as being a “pleasant hotel.” DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BS. Get this place on 4 in a bed and you’ll see for yourself. Let me continue: a light switch that didn’t fill the entire room and marks let me not say ‘brown faeces marks’ that were on our “fresh laundry” said by the owner. It is understandable that the stains could have been still there after being washed but he should have checked before he placed it on the beds; nevertheless, we were given fresh towels. The floors were creaky and our upstairs neighbours clearly found this a joke, keeping us awake and unable to sleep despite quiet hours being between “11-7am.” The stay was the worst part of our entire girls holiday; however, I do have to commend our host who was kind and offered help when we needed it 
(but should do so with a smile:) )

Stayed here 22July 22 with my daughter and 14 month baby. Man was rude on arrival, was told there was a fan in the room which there wasnt. Sheets were stained, dirty marks on the wall. Bathroom is tiny, small sink couldnt even fill kettle from sink. Towels had stains. Bathroom door fell off and missed hitting my baby, told the man and no apology! Hes an ignorant horrible man. Parking cost £5 which I never bothered with and was lucky to park on the street as the parking was round the back and didnt look safe to park car there. Breakfast was non existant, dont be fooled by paying for breakfast! Avoid this place at all costs!!! Wouldnt let animals stay here!

Take payment then dont refund when cancelled,try to get money back is a joke.Dont answer emails or phone calls,when you do talk to someone the manager who deals with cancellations is never available!!!!!!!!!

Booked a superior room, was luck if it is a below standard room, had to choose if the extension was in for bedside lights or TV could not have both. Another extension disappeared into the wall so guess if we used it next door room would be in the dark. Shower room was very small and you needed to be a contourionist to sit on the low. Tried to put the TV in the residents lounge to watch rugby and was told off for turning on TV. Room said it had a hair dryer which we were given when we asked as owner had several stolen.
Not worth the £168. For two nigjts

AVOID AT ALL COST. KATE is a drunk. Banging on my hotel room at 4pm stinking of alcohol and telling me to leave. How is she even still open? Felt unsafe as I was the only one at the hotel. I rather sleep in the streets. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
