Great location overlooking the harbor. Restaurants and town center at your doorstep. Very friendly and helpful staff. While the street below is very vibrant, I would highly recommend the waterfront units. The town is a hidden gem.

Black Sea out your window

Booked 3 night stay in standard room and I got special room on the top floor with spectacular view of Sinop Marina for 2 night stay and the other 1 night, also the top floor with city view 😁. The room is huge, with relatively modern furnitures (I read in several articles about its old furnitures, I guess it has been renewed). 
Location wise is very close to Sinop Castle, a step away from Sakarya Caddesi the shopping street, and few minutes walk to Kumkapı beach and historical Sinop Prison Museum. Tea and coffee making facilities are available, clean hotel, sufficient Turkish breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Its garden still keeps the  ancient wall intact!! 

Amazing view of Sinop Marina

This is the first time I chose a hotel listed in the Lonely Planet guide, and I was glad that I did. It is situated on the main Street in Sinop and one of the few hotels overlooking the port, sea and boats. I was lucky enough to have a room at the front so woke up to beautiful views. All of the staff I met were smiling and did their best to help me, despite my broken Turkish. The lady even came out at breakfast to greet me with my name! If you are staying in Sinop I'd recommend you stay here. Large rooms and great value.

Perfect location, best views and friendly staff

Right cross from the water, where the fishing boats dock. Quiet, I recommend a room in the back. But the front isn't bad you have water view, with small amount of traffic. Very clean and breakfast is well stocked for a turkish buffet.  Easy walking the whole old area. 

Lovely hotel

I did not like that I could not get the wifi to work.

I really liked this hotel. It’s not luxurious, but provides good mid range comfort at an affordable price. Rooms are reasonably spacious, comfortable and clean. Front rooms (anything ending in 01 or 02) have a great view over the harbour. Back rooms look over a garden and are quieter. Front rooms get street noise, but the double glazing keeps it down to reasonable levels. The staff are friendly and have a good attitude. They volunteered a heater when the air conditioning broke (it was winter) and had it fixed the next day. Breakfast is buffet style with the usual Turkish offerings. Wifi was reasonable, steady but not fast. I would definitely choose to stay there again.

Great location, excellent value

Good hotel looking straight out on the harbour.  Very comfortable room and a good size.  WiFi absolutely pitiful couldn't get a permanent signal in the room.  Helpful staff, if a little short on the English.  Breakfast a little ordinary.  A very historical jail in the town.  Absolute must for a visit.  Very varied and interesting history.  Quite an enormous facility within the old city walls.  As you walk around the city it's very evident that it was a major place in historic times.  The old castle, in places is still fairly intact and accessible.  Every where you go there are still major parts of the city wall and other historic sites to see in a bustling modern day coastal city. A great place to visit.  We were there for the independence day parade with all the local children and their school bands etc performing.  Absolutely wonderful.

Good position.  Close to everyting

Good budget hotel. 
Room smelled a little musty, but was clean and had a nice view of the harbour.
The staff don't speak English, but were very helpful and friendly - I was always welcomed with a smile.

The hotel is well situated by the waterside.

nice little hotel,very comfortable and in a great location next to the marina.Staff were helpful and friendly.The rooms were quite large and comfortable and we would stay here again as the hotel is central for everything
