Just back from a week at the Alba not been for 7 years and can honestly say its still as good as ever. I can't fault the hotel at all its a really relaxing place but you can get into Side for 2 E on the dolmus which is just up and right from the hotel. Food is plentiful with items at every meal cooked in front of you. You also have access to one of three speciality restaurants once per weeks stay, which are well worth the visit.Lunch on the beach terrace bar excellent with a fresh fish of the day served every day, it is also available in the other restaurants also a lunch fresh flat breads rolled and cooked in front of you just off the beach within the olive tree's. When i looked at past reviews i thought it might not be as good but to address the criticisms , we are both non smokers and didn't have any issues, easy to get served, more Germans than English but no problems and high standards . Tired furniture its not modern but all immaculately kept and clean high quality fittings.Of course all the staff were excellent.
