Cozy Pai

Back to Cozypai after a couple of years. Still the most beautiful place with wonderful owners and nice vibe going among the guests. We always meet nice people here.

The bugalows are traditional bamboo huts sitting around a nice pond, with Many nice flowers and plants.   Showers and toilets are outside and Shared (but clean!) Every bungalow has a hammock on the front and a large bed with a mosquito net.

It is a simple but beautiful and very relaxing place.

I stayed at Cozy Pai for almost a week and the owners were so kind and helpful. The place is very peaceful and staying in a bungalow around the pond was lovely. Perfect location and amazing deal for money. I remembered waking up to the sounds of the birds in the morning! Highly recommend Cozy Pai!

No matter how much Pai changes from the influx of tourists from all over the world, it's good to know some places still cater to the backpacker crowd. Located 800m from walking street and the night food market, Cozy Pai is within walking distance to everything in town. Chances are you'll have already hired a motor-scooter to explore the beautiful scenery around Pai, so transport is easy if you don't like walking. Closer to your bungalows are a few shops and bars that have popped up to cater to the clowns at Famous Pai Circus School. If you're really lucky Mama Natalie might even treat you to some delicious Thai food fresh from the jungle.

Cozy Pai run by a lovely family who live the true Pai "don't worry be happy" lifestyle. Accommodation is much cheaper (and simpler) than the boutique bungalow guest houses that surround it, so you can enjoy the beauty without the high prices. Cozy's bungalows don't come with en suite bathrooms - which can be annoying when you're lazing in your hammock - but this keeps your hut smelling fresh. If you've spent much time in the tropics you'll know that the combination of cheap en suite bathrooms and heat is not something you want to sleep next to.

The huts don't have AC but do have fans and electricity. The cool breeze of the little lake keeps life manageable though. Cozy's bungalows have been recently renovated to have nice strong grass roofs to prepare for the rainy season.

Cozy Pai no longer bothers with online booking (on booking.com etc) after to avoid hassles from international guests who are unfamiliar with simple Thai life. Instead they rely on word of mouth from like-minded individuals in town, as well as a very competitive price. I spent a couple of nights with a friend in this hostel and it was absolutely nice. It is very chill and you have your own bungalow in the middle of the nature. Toilets are not so great though. Staff is lovely and warm.

Place looks really nice and I think the bungalow are, but the dorm was the worst I've had so far. Véry noisy, super cold and uncomfortable. Also the people weren't really interested and didn't seem to enjoy
