I’d like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the team at Al Meroz Hotel in Bangkok, with a very special mention to Giant, the front desk manager, who truly stands out for his exceptional service. Before our trip, we had read glowing reviews about Giant—and he absolutely lived up to every word of praise. From the moment we arrived, Giant was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. He helped us arrange a room change to one with a disabled-friendly toilet for my husband, ensuring we were comfortable and well cared for. He also went the extra mile by connecting us with David, a helpful and reliable van driver who assisted us throughout our stay, making travel around the city much easier. In addition, Giant helped us arrange for massage services, which was a thoughtful touch that added to our comfort and relaxation. Eddie, the friendly bellboy, also deserves a mention for his cheerful attitude and help with our luggage. The breakfast buffet was generally good, offering a decent variety. However, the fried rice and glass noodles were quite bland and could use more flavor. When we shared this feedback, the restaurant manager didn’t seem to take it seriously and barely acknowledged our comments. A more open and approachable attitude—perhaps even just a smile—would have made the dining experience more pleasant. Despite that, our overall stay was smooth, restful, and memorable, thanks largely to the exceptional service from Giant and the support of staff like Eddie. Al Meroz Hotel is highly recommended, especially for those looking for thoughtful, personalized hospitality.
