45 reviewsA friend highly recommended Snails B&B 听见蜗牛民宿 and we discovered the reason why after 3 nights. It is located in the middle of organic farms which is nice and quiet. It is about 5-min drive from Zhixue train station and 15-min cab (estimated NT320) from Hualien City. Breakfast is great, home & slow cooked and the menu is different on each day. Bryant, the young owner is extremely helpful, friendly and hospitable. If his schedule is free, he will drive his guests to Zhixue train station without any fee. En-suite room is comfortable and clean. We were lucky to enjoy the beautiful sunrise, hear the morning calls from the rooster in the backyard and breathe the great fresh air in the 花东縱谷 East Rift Valley. You get to meet Guagua (chill & older dog) and Lucky (playful puppy) too, the two mascots of Snails B&B. This is a great place to relax and do nothing!
