This hotel is just around the corner from the main train station - which is perfect for getting anywhere you want to go. It is on a quiet street. What put it over the top for my family was the personalized attention and care you get. From the moment we stepped into the lobby Roman (or as he referred to himself "Guy with the ponytail") made us feel welcome. He gave us helpful food and places to visit recommendations (by the way, he speaks English as one of his languages). I also like how you can drop off your key each time you leave (in a cool little slot or in their hand). Then, when you return, they will give it back to you - so it is one less thing to have to remember. The breakfast was a nice typical Western continental breakfast - nothing to write home about - but convenient and cheaper than a restaurant. Room had everything we needed - including lots of channels of tv in different languages. Room had a place to sleep for 4 people, which seems rare to find in Switzerland - most fit just 2 people. Best value of our stay though was the ability to keep your bags there after you check out. We were able to explore another town for the day and not have to lug our bags with us. We would highly recommend this place to everyone.
