Stayed two nights at Bryggan and were pleased to receive a free upgrade to a room with a sitting area so can’t comment on the other rooms other that to say that only one room has a sea view despite the hotel being right on the marina. No hotel car parking (except for across town) but I think that’s the case for everywhere in Fjallbacka. Breakfast was basic but tasty.

Great Upgrade

Wonderful proprietor - so friendly and helpful.  The breakfast and restaurant were excellent!  We stayed in a room for a family and it was perfect.  Highly recommend:)!

This hotel and restaurant has the optimal location in Fjällbacka but several menials things destroyed the experience of our stay. Firstly the first impression we were met with was the most awful stench entering the building to the rooms. It's a very unclean and old stench which should be dealt with if people are to enjoy their time here. The second was the appalling attitude and service of one woman every morning at breakfast. The breakfast was rather simple and luckily we found out from others about the option to have a cooked breakfast but every time I wanted to order this the woman in question - older & blond, ran away or ignored us. We were made to feel like fools each morning 4 in total. Her attitude was unbearable. So a beautiful location totally destroyed for me.

Perfect location but very disappointing service and lodgings

Perfect location! They have also tried to take the Corona situation seriously, but it seems like other places in Sweden... no one else cares.
Bought two schrimp-sandwhiches. Must say I expected more for 145 kroners. 
Light white bread, egg, sallad, lots of mayo and not that much schrimps. When that said, the schrimps were really good. 95 kroners for a glass of wine... well. 
Again, nice location.


You pay for location...

The hotel is just in front of the King Cliff and the restaurant is wonderful.

Very charming little hotell with excellent location. Rooms are all different in both size and style. Mine had a balcony about the size of the room. Too bad it was raining. Clean, friendly staff and nice selection for breakfast.

West coast charm

Cosy place, great location, nice breakfast

Nice view with good surroundings, good tasty food but the service seemed a bit lazy and not so focused difficult with small childrens that could fall into water nearby, expensive, modern and clean an overall ok excitement

Bryggan

Great location at the heart of Fjällbacka harbour. The hotel rooms are at various buildings around the main hotel building. We had a fine and spacious room in best Ikea style. The room was basic and clean. Breakfast buffet with overview of the harbour with an average selection.

Great location

Best room on our 2 week trip. Nice and spacious. Stayed in one of the side buildings and loved it. Travelled with dog and as a really nice gesture there was not only a water and food bowl in the room but also some dog treats. The location is amazing just close to everything.
Can only recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.
The breakfast is ok but the view from the breakfast room amazing
