Was a bit sceptical cause I am used to comfort but this hostel was really nice and clean. I liked the bed. Only thing is reception isn’t always open (closed at 20 the day I arrived) so if I hadn’t called in advance to get bed sheets I wouldn’t have managed to get some

My husband and I spent two nights at Kvibergs Vadrarhem and we were absolutely happy with everything. The staff was very friendly, our room was cosy and clean, the guest kitchen was organised very well, and the breakfast was excellent. We liked the breakfast rooms very much. There were lots of possibilities inside and outside to just sit down, read, watch TV or just relax. Beautiful park and flowers around the building. It was a pleasure to be able to come that quiet place after spending exciting days in the big city of Gothenburg. Thank you very much! We will come back some time in the future.

Two perfect days in Göteborg

Good, cheap, near the light rail, SLEEPING BAGS ARE BANNED

Kviberg is a great hostel when it comes to how clean it is, the standard, good bed, breakfast etc. 
Me and my friend had a room with our own bathroom and it was very clean and good.

But.. they don't seem to have any rules when it should be quiet, or people just don't care.. we had neighbors in the room next door.. young people.. the first night they came "home" at around 01.30am.. talking loud, laughing and then having sex, everything very loudly. 
No sleep for us...

The next day everything was good, until around 03.30am.. the laughing, screaming and laudness was keeping us awake untill it was time to go up. And this day we had to drive home for 12h.. not the best start...

There were more who didn't get any sleep. They were talking about it at the breakfast.

This is just ridiculous. This is a hostel for party folks, not for people who want to relax.
Just stay far away from this hostel if you intend to relax and have a good night sleep.

A good hostel but with a big BUT...

It has been a new experience for me as this hotel offers a different concept. You have to rent linen and towel. No cleaning of the room unless you require it and pay for it.For me, the big advantage was the kitchen available for guests Very well equipped where you can cook your own meals. Fantastic for me as I'm on a very strict diet and can't usually find the correct food in normal restaurants.Overall I had an excellent stay. The hotel is confortable, very clean and the staff very kind.I was just missing a closet to keep my clothes, but the room is so small…

A new experience for me

Stay is good but only thing is we had to pay for the bed linens extra

Booked a room for my parents and sister, comfy stay, clean and tidy rooms, friendly staff, helpful indeed.

Stayed a week in a double room with own toilet in the main building. Room was clean. It was quiet, no noises from the street as the area is near a green area. Tram connection is very good to central Göthenburg, thr tram stop a short walking distance away. I usually stay in hotels but this hostel was very positive experience. Cosy, you meet people in the downstairs kitchen when you make your breakfast and dinner, if you prefer to do so, otherwise the breakfast served in the restaurant is available and was good. I would stay there again.

Peaceful place

Great for families of 4 to 5 peoole. Good location and easy to take the tram into city center. A local market is right next to the premises to explore on the weekends. Staff really is helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Plenty of parking space and the cabin was clean and cozy.

Lovely cottages

Could have been a nice trip. But the service and commitment were not okay. Some items were stolen and in the end they said it's our fault because the door probably was not closed correctly (although "closes automatically" is written on every door and it was closed). They also forgot our booking and didn't help us with problems with another group of about 25 people that occupied the kitchen so we were not able to cook. The hostel with its furnishing is okay but if you want to feel well looked after, book another hostel.
