Cleanliness was the highlight of this place. Bathroom was super clean. The bed was comfortable with enough pillows and clean linen. The family was very friendly. 
The place is ideally located a few minutes walk from the beach as well as from the Mirissa town. Highly recommend this place whether you are a solo traveler, a couple or a family with kids.             

A super clean place ideally located near the beach 

We have stayed here three times. This holiday was for 2 weeks, our room was on the 2nd floor with plenty of space, a big bathroom, it also has nice balcony to sit out on.
 It is a perfect location for the beach & places to eat. Accommodation is very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, the owner is very helpful & friendly.
It is quiet & away from the music of the beach. 
There are lots of places close to go for breakfast & the beach bars are lively in the evening to eat and drink.
I would highly recommend Dilara as it’s very reasonable & a great location less than 5 min walk to the beach.

Clean & comfortable 

I originally booked this hotel for 2 nights, however when I arrived I decided to book it for 7 nights instead. This was down to the incredible hospitality from the family who run this hotel. I instantly felt welcomed and at home as soon as I arrived, as a lone traveller this was an important feature for me.
The room was massive, bed comfortable, very large balcony with a lovely view of the gardens and a big bathroom with a hot shower.  Very clean hotel and very close location to the beach, even better an amazing coffee shop called aloha is a few minutes walk away. The family invited me for breakfast one morning as part of their new year celebrations and even gave me some fresh mangoes from their garden one day. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to stay in mirrisa!

Amazing stay

Away from the noisy main road and only a short easy walk to the beach. Clean and spacious room with balcony. Very tasty breakfast. Superfriendly and helpful owners. Therefore I finally stayed there one week instead of two days 😊

Very nice and perfect location

A great family run hotel with large clean rooms very comfortable beds and balconies or terrace for every room. The owners are friendly and helpful. Don't miss the breakfast the best we have had in Sri Lanka. Will definitely return to Dilara.

Hidden gems in Mirissa

Clean and spacious rooms. Very good air condition. Bed issupeb comfortable . Had enough pillows . Meals are very tasty. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Value for moeny. very reasonable price.I will come back.

Superb place to stay.

We visited Mirissa for Whale Watching and stayed at Dilara Resort. The owner Chaminda gave an absolutely wonderful service and the hotel is located close to the beach and to the whale watching harbor. I would highly recommend the place if you are visiting Mirissa. 

Great service. Wonderful location. 

We had the pleasure of staying in Dilara resort for 3 nights while in Miressa ..
We slept well in a very comfortable king size bed .
It was close to the west side of the beach only a few minute walk .
The Owner was a perfect host and made sure at every possible turn that we were happy with our stay.
The rooms are large and with a/c .
We had a ground floor room with our our balcony to sit out on .
We found the room rate very reasonable and hope to come back and stay here again 

Dilara resort .

This was one of our best Hotels in whole Sri Lanka. It was extremly Clean. The Bathroom looks new and Clean. The room is really big and has a big bed.The A/C Worked great and the whole area is quiet so you get a good Sleep. It is loocated in a small Street away from the main street.Not Really far away from the beach .The family who runs this Hotel is so friendly. They helped us everytime. I Would defnitly recommend this place!

Incredible Stay

The Dilara Resort is without question the best place we stayed at in Sri Lanka. The rooms were the biggest and cleanest we saw during our whole trip here (and we are Germans so that definitely means something;)) The hosts are incredibly helpful and friendly and the breakfast is tasty and diverse.
All that for such a little price is amazing value. So if you come by Mirissa you should definitely stay here :)
