I had a great time at Okay Goldi, staying there for about one week. The rooms are simple, but who would ecpect luxury rooms at this price...? I really liked that it's so close to the beach (roughly 1 minute walk). There is a train passing nearby, but I assume that the other place in this area are affected in a similar way. Anyway - after the first night, I didn't notice the trains any more. I would also recommend Okay Goldi, because the staff was very helpful and friendly! Thank you very much!

Great stay

The Hotel is close to the main road (3min by TukTuk), so you can easily arrive by bus. The host is very friendly, rooms are clean and comfy and the beach is just 100m away. We stayed for two nights (26€ in total with a good breakfast) and really enjoyed! Definetly recommend this accomondation. 

Perfect for Backpackers

I stayed here for a one night... and had an excellent stay... Room was fresh and clean. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and informative.... easy access to the beach... i was on a budget so this place was the best I could find for the price... Definitely will be my first choice if im gonna stay at benthota again... 

Excellent choice if you are on a budget!

I recommend this hotel for low budget travelers the service was good and the people were very friendly and helpful I cant ask for more service 
the building is old so that's how it is but rooms were clean and food was delicious actually they thought me how to make fish roll it was fantastic experience with Anuradha

Worst experience i had in sri lanka......dirt+sheets with stains+a fan that was worst than the train, that passes outside your window and an unwiling manager to fix or even bother with all this things......be aware
