951 reviewsWas greeted with a smile by a lovely lady on reception who spoke great English and made me feel very welcome from the get go. Room was very basic and rather small but perfectly adequate for me. I stayed in the hotel block with a lovely sea view. In the room I had a double and a single bed. Large Wardrobe with approx 10 coat hangers, safe and set of drawers. Small dressing table area with chair, a mini fridge, telephone and air con unit plus an LG tv which I didn't use so cant tell you which channels were on it. I didn't find the air con to be that effective at first but after it being on for a while it made the room a nice temperature. 3 plug sockets in the bedroom, 1 is occupied by the mini fridge, 1 next to the bed and one underneath the window (Could do with more) Bring your own kettle as one isn't provided. You may be able to rent these from reception I'm not sure. Bathroom: Toilet, shower over bath (No problem with hot water and great water pressure!) wash basin. Small toiletries provided (hand soap, shower caps, and hair and body wash dispenser on wall) small bin. (Only bin in the whole room could do with another bin in the bedroom area) shelf above wash basin and a small cupboard for storage. I did find there was sometimes a slight sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Small balcony with a table and 2 chairs and an ashtray for the smokers. Beautiful views from the balcony! Only got sun on the balcony for a couple of hours early morning though. Reception area has vending machines for Coffee, drinks and snacks and a cigarette machine. I didn't use the pool area or bars as the beach was so close and so many bars in the area to try out. There is an Irish bar right next to the hotel which I visited a couple of times for food and coffee. The Claddagh. Lovely waitress working there and the food and coffee was good. Another favourite of mine was Tudor Rose a little walk from the hotel up some steps on the balcony, again another lovely waitress there also served lovely food. So many bars and shops close to the hotel that you can't really go wrong. I used bolt taxis a few times to Benalmadena which was roughly €10 also a lovely place to visit. Torremolinos Town center is also a lively bustling area that's a must visit, and popular with the LGBT+ community. Bear in mind the town centre is up a lot of steps and I mean a LOT but I do believe there is a lift somewhere for 50 cents or a taxi isn't that much. I didn't walk up but I walked down and was easy enough with some lovely little shops on the way down. Little tip: there are guys on the promenade selling light up flying things that you shoot up in the air for kids. They try selling them at 3 for $10 or there abouts. There's a little shop on the way down the steps from the town to the beach who sell them for €1 each, so don't be fooled by the sellers on the promenade. I never found any of the shop sellers to be pushy at all, unlike many other tourist destinations around the world. There are the usual "looky looky" men about but I didn't find they bothered me too much a simple "no thank you" sufficed. Overall a great hotel and in a great area. Will definitely return to this hotel and area I'm sure.
