Room is not big but very clean, though the soundproof condition may not be always satisfactory. The staff and the proprietor are super nice and helpful. The hostel is in Dongdaemun, so there are loads of shops, convenient stores, restaurants and eateries nearby. Airport bus stops and metro are just couple of minutes' walk from the hostel. Very convenient to get around the city.

Good hostel

stayed in the hostel twice, location is in Dongdaemun station, walking from the subway to the hostel is less than 5 minutes, airport bus stop is located nearby too. down in a small alley is the hostel entrance, it is not hard to find as they have a sign outside. like other houses in Korea, they have electrical locks outside - it's good and safe, people with passwords can get in. they provided slippers to wear when you are in the room and the hostel area. you will place your shoes in the shoe locker, a key is provided so don't worry your shoe won't be gone. The room is simple, organized and have everything you need - a bathroom, mini fridge, tv air conditioner too. the bathroom is good in terms of size, not too crowded, yet you will have your own space (probably the biggest reason I will return to this hostel). They also have a small common area, where you can get water, or do some small cooking. Laundry is available on site too! 

Nearby the hostel, there are many local food stalls. In the mornings, there are local food stalls selling porridges (red bean or pumpkin), night time there are stalls selling grilled meat or ddokpokki food trucks. They also have a "food street" nearby the subway exit, down the alley you will find lots of local foods, varies from seafood to meat! You have to go down the alley to discover more. Or you can ask the owners/workers from the hostel where they would advise you for meals. A convenient store is down the street too, so don't worry if you want to get some food in the middle of the night. Opposite street of the hostel they have cafes too. (you won't starve for sure in this area).

Hostel is in about 10 minutes or less walking distance to Dongdaemun shopping area, it is convenient for shoppers who want to shop till late night, but don't want to catch a cab ride back to hostel, since it is walking distance. Highly recommended place to stay in Seoul!

convenient and worthy place

The room is modern and comfortable. I like the layout of the room with green bed sheet and white wall. The room price is comparatively lower than other hotel in Dongdaemun. We have stayed here for one night. Everything is perfect except there is nobody there when we arrived at 8 am (the opening hour shown in the wall).The hostel is locked with password so we could not get in to put down our luggage. We have pressed the bell for many times and waited outside for 20 minutes and then waited in a cafe nearby. We felt so angry at first as we have told the host our arrival time beforehand. Overall, it is still a good experience as the hosts are friendly and the room is really of good quality. The location is convenient to go shopping nearby as well.

Modern and comfortable room

The location of the Hostel is perfect, it takes only 3-4mins walk away from the Dongdaemun or Dongmyo Stations. The street is busy in daytime but quiet at night. Convenient stores, supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops are all around (there is a 24hr fast food restaurant nearby), you do not have to worry about your dinner after a long day of travel. There are quite a few banks around, you can change your currency there (of course the rate will be better at Myeong-dong). If you would like to send postcards to your friends, the Post Office is just opposite to the Hostel. Please remember to take the bus from the airport (No. 6002), this way will be more direct and easier for you to locate the Hostel when you first arrive Seoul.

The room and bathroom is clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable. The Owners speak fluent English, I have no difficulties when communicating with them. They are helpful and friendly. I miss them and I miss the Hostel so much. I will definitely recommend the Hostel to my friends and stay there again when I travel to Seoul.

Feel like I was home...

The transportation from airport to here is very convenient. We can take 6002 airport bus and stop at Dongdaemun or take MTR stop at Dongdaemun exit 3 or Dongmyo exit 8, it only takes within 5 minutes to the hostel. It is a clean and good location hostel. I live in a single room and my sister lives in a double room. The space of the room is enough for big luggages. We have to change the slippers provided before we step in the area of the rooms. The owners are very friendly and helpful to help us to solve our queries.My sister wash her clothes there and the laundry is free! The owner will wash the clothes in the late morning and we have to hang them by ourselves.  I recommend a noodle shop and it is located near Dongdaemun exit. The noodles are fresh made and the food there are all fresh, cheap and delicious. The price of the noodles is around won2500 to 4000. There are 4 staff (include the cook)and they are all women. Also there is a fresh fruit shop located at Dongmyo exit 8, we have bought the fresh cherries and small tomatoes and the price is cheap. We have compared with the other shops or stalls in the market area and find that this is the freshest one. I will certainly live in this hostel again as it is near the shopping and eating areas. The most important is the price of the room is cheap (but need to book the room earlier and it is always full).
