Very quiet and relaxing. Rooms are very well furnished with a desk and proper Wi-Fi.  There is a fully licensed bar and restaurant which means that I did not have to go anywhere after a long day at work.

Excellent service and food with awesome views.

The guesthouse is stunning. It was a very nice and relaxing atmosphere, best view from each angle, staff is very friendly, rooms well equipped and very modern.  Very private, breakfast was well prepared and delicious

Relaxation

Extremely friendly and helpfull staff. Would reccomend it for friends and family. Nice clean rooms. Great pool and braai facility. Close to town and convenience stores. Great view! Airconditioned rooms.

Great stay

My visit was work related,I got to the venue at around 17:30 and was welcomed by the manager.Very friendly lady I have to say.She showed me to my room and I liked everything about it .The beautiful part is the breakfast area.The view is to die for...check my pictures.

A working visit

Slept over at Maroelas while on business in Thabazimbi. Reservations and reception was excellent and easy. The location of the Guesthouse is awesome and overlooking the town far below from high op the Ysterberg, with the Kransberg mountains in the background. The fact that the whole of Thabazimbi was developed between mountains cause nonstop noise from down below. Even so, the noise did not impede my sleep as the rooms are fairly quiet. The whole guesthouse and swimming pool was built like a huge deck on the slope of the mountain. The thatch roof and decor creates a true bush-veld ambiance. The room was impeccably clean and well furnished. Although I missed out on breakfast, my colleagues assured me the breakfast is brilliant!

Good nights sleep high above Thabazimbi

High up on the ysterberg with a amazing view of thabazimbi. Stay was average. Room clean exept for shower. Wifi password provided did not work. Staf friendly but requires training in the basics of hospitality. Way overpriced for what you get.

Avrage stay

I phoned 5 days before to make a booking. They must send me an email confirmation,  which never happened. I then phoned 3 more times after that to get the confirmation. Never got the confirmation. When we got there they couldnt help us. Totaly disgusted by their way of doing things. Would never use or suggest them to anybody.
