We enjoyed the stay very much. The hotel was nicely located to the beach and in a nice quiet area.

We had great expectations of this property.  How wrong we were!  Our very small and cramped room was at the top of dangerous and extremely steep steps.  My husband and I are reasonably fit and agile but we found them difficult to negotiate especially going down.  The room was very shabby; kitchen units rickety, table leatherette covering peeling off and the bathroom has a damp problem which needs attention.  There is a large cupboard with shelving but no hanging area taking up too much space.  It was also very stuffy, therefore, a ceiling fan would have been very much appreciated.  The bed was comfortable and we did enjoy the view whilst having breakfast or sun downers on the small terrace.  I will not be recommending this property to friends.

Dissapointing

I am not happy with the Hotel, below are some of the disappoints with the hotel.-No bathroom keys(Complained to Hotels.com but no further action as taken)-No Wifi at all.-No hot water.-There is no shampoo and air fresheners in the bath room.-overall my rating is 2.5/5, the owner has to look into conditions and react promptly.-2.5 rating is for the sea view and the manager of that Hotel.

Not happy with the Hotel Amenities.

We were looking for a place to spend the night as we had a wedding in the area and found this spot on booking.com. We arrived and none of the numbers were working, even booking.com could not make telephonic contact with them. We had warned them beforehand of our arrival time but there was no one available to meet us. We should have left then. The place is a complete scam, there is poor adherence to health and safety, the shower door was off it’s hinges, there was rust in the bath and the light switch was broken. It’s a very poorly maintained property. The lady managing the place also stood behind our door listening in on our conversations. No regard for privacy. It looks nothing like the pictures. Booking.com were also poor to respond and took no liability for a property booked via their platform. 

Do yourself a favour and stay far far away from this scammers hideaway!

Total Scam

DO NOT BOOK THS PLACE!!!!!
When you pay more than R1000, you expect to stay in a nice place...
Instead, you have a dilapidated room...
No maintenance at all (the door handles are falling apart, the lamp bulb of the bathroom is coming out from the ceiling with apparent wires, the bathroom ventilation is super noisy)
The DST/Netflix they are advertising has to upload on a regular basis, because of the 38 other devises were plugged on the same network
We were provided with only half a roll of toilet paper for 2 people (the cheap quality). No Toilettry / soap.
The staff was more interested in her internet connection than the comfort of their guest (the one lady knocked at our door to check our router, as her wifi was not working on her phone... Really ???!!!).
If I have an advise to give you, keep your money for another place... The pictures you see one the booking site are not accurate at all...

After travelling over 1000km with a toddler in the car, we were shocked to see what Hideaway offers. We did not even unpack our car, just drove away from that dump as fast as we could!

Shocking..

Everything in the apartment was falling apart. There is a lot of water damage all over the apartment. The sofa was standing on bricks. The fridge didn't cool anything. There is no ventilation. You can hear every single footstep from the apartment above, because of the old wooden floors/deck. There was a dog barking all night. You can even clearly hear everything the couple in the apartment above us did. It was the most horrible experience in my life!!!
I thought I would look past the other bad reviews when I booked this place, but please anyone wanting to book this place, PLEASE DON'T!!!!!
The photo's you see is a hoax! Perhaps taken 20 years back.
The best part was the next morning when I packed my bags at 04:00, just to get out of that place!! and never ever return!!

Just to make it short first: Don't book this place!!

What happened: We booked a suite with sea view! When we arrived, the lady who was welcoming us, couldn't get my name into her booking app. The check-in was not kidding) about 40 minutes infront of the hotel, outside, us, the lady and her broken Ipad. allright, then we went up to the room, with our luggage, up the steep and tight steps. She showed us the room and we couldn't believe what we saw. A tiny room with fungus in the shower and hair all over the bed. I was sure, it's not the room i have booked, so i asked the lady for the wifi, after (not kidding again) giving me 7 times the wrong password and even the wrong name of the wifi, i could log in after 50 minutes.. So, I checked my mails and saw the confirmation from booking.com, it was a totally diffrent room. So, I went to the lady and showed her the pictures and the description od the confirmation and she said, that the toilet is not working in the room you have booked. Doe's she kidding me?? If we wouldn't say anything, nobody would say anything. We were looking for another room in CT, which wasn't easy in the high season, we spend a full day with dealing WITH THIS SITUATION!!  And after contacting booking.com they offered us EURO 25.00 as a sorry.. This is unbealievable!! i'm disappointed, espacially of booking.com!! I was hoping for more support..

Worst place ever!

SCAM ALERT!! When we wanted to check in they did not receive our payment from booking.com & the room we booked was not available due to renovation. Booking.com confirmed refund will be made the next day - still no luck a week later!! The place is run down. There is a lot of people living in the garage - did not feel like a holiday establishment - more like a squatter camp!!!
