I was here when the old management was carrying on this Hotel and it was AWFUL ! New management put things in the right place. There are some lacks but nothing that bad like in the past. The difference is obvious :)

New management is great

Rooms are dirty, many spiders, insects in bathroom. Everything smells of cigarettes. Microwave burned when i turned it on. Building is full of weird people (serbs, romanians...) which are loud at night.
Bedsheets are smelly, staff did not change it after more than a month. WI-FI doesn´t work most of the time and there are 3 random channels on TV.
I advise you to not visit, it´s not worth it at all.

DISGUSTING

Overpriced. Mean and unhelpful receptionist. Weird people staying in this hotel for a longer period of time (Romanian etc). You can smell cigarettes everywhere. Rooms not so clean, the towel I got had blood stains. Really poor quality of service.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND

We arranged this hotel for many people as we were to have a wedding. Week before the wedding they informed us they were raising a price all of the sudden, which we agreed on month back. The raise was cca 62% of the original price.

They have proved themself as unprofessional and unreliable facility therefore I advise only one thing: avoid

Highly dissapointing

We were not expecting a 5* hotel for about 20 EUR/head per night, but the rooms were not equipped as described and smelt of cigarettes, the shower was look warm and the breakfast was poor and cold - not worth 4.50 EUR.

Dissapointing

What a great find. For €22.50 you get a small apartment with separate bedroom and bathroom and there is even a small kitchen. Everything is spotless, it's quiet and the staff speak English and are friendly. If you arrive by train just take the the underpass from the platform away from the station. It's about 300 m. Everything you want to see in town is within easy walking distance.

Budget special

Have stayed here for a few months whilst consulting in trenčin the studio I had was comfortable and clean. The staff all spoke some English and were always willing to help. Didn't try the breakfast as preferred to cook my own. Location was great with plenty of bus routes nearby and a nice local bar
