Please  imagine - good, quiet location; historical renowed building; nice, cozy rooms; interesting, not to be missed spa; excellent, really Japanese meals; lovely owners!
and not only once!
We had the same unforgetable stay as always before:)

Hospitable owners, very interesting interiors, stories told by owners about Japan...unique climate, peace and quiet, good and tasty breakfasts. Unfortunately, quite far from the center. However, owners have some discounts at nearby restaurants with traditional cuisine, so you  do not need to move far to eat or drink.

Already the outside of the house looks great (it's a nicely renovated 1930's villa)...but it gets so much better when you get inside! To start with, there's a cozy drawing room with a fireplace and a little exibition of Japanese artefacts (the Japanese dolls are all over the place). Each room has a unique name and themed decoration. We arrived pretty late in the evening, but were warmly welcomed by the hosts with a cup of green tea.  Despite the mixed weather, everything was great: we were given raincoats and good recommendations of restaurants nearby and we got spoilt with excellent breakfast. The place is best for guests who prefer peace and quiet, it's on the outskirts of Wisla, there's almost no traffic, only you and the surrounding woods :) A great stay, we loved every bit of it! Greetings to the lovely hosts and their cute dog :)

Well, it is a pleasure to say that Japonica is still as good plcae as it used to be... with fantastic hospitality, magnificent breakfasts and its atmosphere - this is something hardly achievable elsewhere, even halfway.
We'll be back!

Fantastic place keeps on being fantastic :)

This was our third stay at Japonica and yet again it was brilliant in every respect. We are addicted to this place - its location, comfort and hospitality are absolutely perfect. The breakfasts are unbeatable. But most of all the welcome is unsurpassed!!!

Another great stay

Somebody might think this is boring to visit same place again and again, but if You look for peaceful stay in great location with magnificent hospitality, good fresh air and good access to hiking trails, this is one of the best, if not THE BEST, place to go.
And that's why I keep returning ;) and will do.
