The hotel is nicely located in the center of Polanica Zdroj, runs a wide offer of SPA procedures, but not everybody in the staff is ready to help or even care. The hotel has quite a nice (modest) home made breakfast, the rooms and internet are adequate to the price. Finally, in the weekend hours you can get a big noise consisting from 80s hits from the dancing downstairs.

Overal nice place, but not eager to make an extra step

I stayed here in January with my Partner (who is Polish), upon arrival the Hotel looked nice and well presented, and we were both glad to get inside as the snow was falling and was very cold. When we got to the reception we were not wamly welcomed but made me to feel we were interupting whatever the woman behind the desk was doing :-( she didnt smile once talked bluntly to my partner (who speaks fluent Polish) and didnt make us feel welcome at all.  During our two night stay we seen maybe one other couple which meant the hotel was practically empty which I didnt mind at all,(even better) but what me and my partner did mind was being put into a room which was right next to either a permanent guests room or relatives of the owners who lived their permanent with small children.  So ALL the hotel was practically empty and we were made to feel to like they wanted to keep watch on us by putting us right next to their room.  we wanted to rest a bit as we had been travelling a long time, but couldnt as all the time all You heard was the owner (or whoever it was) going back and fore and back and fore back and fore to the room, slamming the door opening the door slamming the door opening the door, even very early in the morning :-(  We felt like we couldnt even talk as the walls were thin and felt like everything was being heard.  My partner wanted to use the "gym" that they were suppose to have, he got the key from reception went to the "gym" which consisted of an old bike machine a weights machine some ladders on the wall and beds with wierd leg lifts..he was only there a matter of five minutes when in burst the owners or whoevers children, my partner couldnt train as they were messing around with the weights running around, he didnt want them to trap their fingers or hurt themselves, again we felt like they were sent to keep an eye on us.. We gave the key back and went to play snooker everything was great until again the children turned up we left.  The second night we went to use the sauna (what You had to pay extra for) which I thought was a rip-off as in numerous other hotels the sauna is free in the price.  The girl on the second night was much nicer and helpful I will give a positive for her:-) the other woman was grumpy and not kind or helpful.  
BREAKFAST- not as good as other hotels I've been in, consisted of buffet but they are very tight and there wasnt much food put out, cheeses and hams basic sausages basic, the usual cheese spreads tea coffee, NO juice or any other drink other than tea or coffee, basic rolls, was ok but not amazing. Not as good as other Hotels we stayed in all around Poland.

OVERALL VERDICT- amazing building and lovely clean hotel just dont go there in a quiet period because You'll be put next to the owners or permanent guest room, and will have to endure slamming of doors and noise ALL THE TIME. we felt we couldnt even breathe and felt constantly watched in the hotel like we were dodgy people or something :-( not good at all...apart from the bad things lovely location beautiful area just stay somewhere else.

I have recently stayed there for a couple of nights and had a really wonderfull time - rooms were nice and clean, staff helpfull and food was really up to scratch. Perfect place for a weekend break.
