there is a new owner there so I pay twice for the room . Dont book this place. some sites still making reservations and take money --but no more Papa albert inn!!!  the place have good location close to to the market.

No more Papa Albert Inn ----new owner and new name

Average room, water restrictions applied when we were there. I mean lack of water for shower/toilet. People staying in adjoining rooms quite noisy. Basic small communal fridge. Air con worked even slightly noisy. Foam mattress, bearable for 1x night. Ideal to stay 1x night before 2GO ferry departure and close to Baywalk for meals at evenings. TV in room barely worked, but as we stayed for 1 night only for ferry departure, it did not matter. Had to haggle to get the advised price for extended stay price from the original advised price. No meals available.

Budget location

The staff (Kuya Marvin) is very friendly and accommodating.  The location is very accessible to at least 3 tourist attractions (Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral, Plaza Cuartel and Baywalk).  Restaurants,convenience stores and 24-hours fastfood chains are a mere tricycle ride.  The owner went the extra mile of looking for a car rental service when our city tour van transport schedule was cancelled.

backpackers paradise

This hotel is within walking distance to many attractions in Puerto Princesa including the City Baywalk, Immaculate Concepcion Church, Plaza Cuartel, and Princess Eulalia Park.  The aircon room for 2 with bath costs only 900.00 Philippine pesos.  Wifi is free and the signal is good.  You could also book your city tour, or island hopping tour with the hotel at very reasonable prices.  Island hopping is for only 1,300.00 pesos while the Underground River tour is for 1,400.00 per person.  The staff are very accommodating and helpful.

A clean budget place to stay at a good location.

This is a newer hotel with 8 rooms, opened in 2014. It has both AC and fan rooms. The fan rooms are very hot, it is cooler outside. We booked on-line using a booking site, which cost 700 a night for a fan room instead of 600 if walking in. Good thing we did since it was a Saturday night and fully booked. Would definitely just walk in if not a weekend during summer. Staff is very friendly,  they did a great job!

Inn is 2 blocks from the port and Baywalk Park. If you are arriving by boat (not a great trip) this inn is perfect for location.  It is just a few blocks from downtown,  we walked to get there.

Decent price, great location 

This accommodation is very ideal for backpacker, small bedroom just enough for the price of 800PHP (18U$) for 2 pax, but it's clean and accessible and the famous Baybay of Puerto Princesa is just 2 mins away,Puerto princesa Port,  the Immaculate Conception Cathedral is also very near. Auntie the care taker is very accommodating as well as the owner Mr.Jun Palanca...Thank you for your hospitality, I'll be back on Nov.2014...
