The hotel is nearby the port and the also with the Rizal Boulevard. If you are planning to do a sidet trip in Siquijor better stay in this hotel Also it was surrounded with many carenderias. Good place to stay for solo backpackers,

Affordable and Accessible

I got this place for £6.50 a night. Fan, double bed, private bathroom with decent shower, towels and a TV. Oh and free wifi. Unbelievable value especially compared to some places I've stayed. Cheap and you get everything you could want out of a hotel. Good location too, a bit noisy but I really don't think there is any escaping that in the city. 

Fantastic value

A friend and I stayed at Coastal Inn for a night and we appreciated it a lot. We could see that it was a bit old but it was clean, so we had no problem with it. It was also accessible. It was close to the port as well as the Rizal Boulevard, so it was too easy to get to the restaurants and bars from there. 

Another thing we liked about it was the friendliness of its staff members, especially the front desk officer. We got there earlier than the check-in time but we were allowed to leave some of our stuff as we had lunch elsewhere. We were also given the assistance we needed and they made us feel at home.

The front desk officer was also very much willing to help me when I asked for directions on how to go to the airport the following day. She even told me how much the fares were. She was a life-saver!

Friendly and helpful staff

With the price I paid I didnt really have a v high expectation. I just wanted privacy and a safe place to sleep after exploring the city. I am just too happy with the price, and it comes with a private CR, small tv, wifi (tho intermittent which they say is due to the provider). Location is great, tho a local trike driver warned me not to walk alone late night, which u shldnt do anywhere for safety. I didnt feel unsafe going back past 8pm. 

Only two negative things:  in room 9, there's a mark on the wall and door of toilet, seems like blood or something red. When I asked the staff bout it they said it might be hair coloring which they tried cleaning already but they couldn't remove it. The bed cover looked so old I didn't feel comfy lying down the first few hours; the towel certainly looked v old which I didn't use. Other than these two Coastal Inn is great esp for backpackers like me who value privacy.

Cheapest in Dumaguete.

A bad experience.  I asked for a quite room since I had been traveling for two days.  When I entered my room, it sounded like a "Dog Pound" outside. The room was untidy with no soap, no towels and no tissue.  The wafer thin pillow was not clean.  I checked out immediately.  As I was leaving, another employee informed me - they never have quite rooms there.... avoid...      ALSO! the photo in the add is NOT the Dumaguete Coastal Inn!
