9 reviewsThis was our first visit to the Huancayo Hotel but it will not be our last. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner who explained they had just opened a few months ago. He said he welcomed any feedback and if there was anything we needed to please ask. We had reserved the suite that included a kitchen since our stay was nine days and we liked to be able to cook during our stay. The suite was sweet! It had a nice kitchen equipped with almost everything you could want and even a beautiful roof top grilling area with a lovely view. Our room was spacious with comfortable leather couches and two large flat screen TV's in the sitting room and bedroom. The bed was a king size and the mattress so nice we decided to get one simular when we got home. The location around the hotel is in transition with buildings being built and roads being redone so its a little messed up. We look forward to our next visit to see the results of the hard work going on. The area is very safe and convenient. In fact, you can walk to Peru's largest flea market which takes place every Sunday and the main square and shopping is just fifteen minute away. But the best part of the Huancayo Hotel is the staff. The two women Rosemary and Katty were fantastic. They made sure our room was perfect every day and all our needs were taken care of. All done with a BIG smile. We highly recommend this lovely gem in Huancayo Peru.
