This "tourist centre" / hotel is situated in the centre of beautiful Lom (prev. "Fossbergom"), which is one of the nicest places in the entire Norway. Be sure to visit the local bakery ("Bakeren i Lom"), the beautiful stave church and the interesting exhibitions at the Mountain Center. I highly recommend taking a 30 min drive to spectacular Lake Tesse, or even further up the mountains (gravel road, fee NOK 50) to see reindeers and spectacular views in Jotunheimen, up to Glitterheim - with a view to Peak Glittertind. Enjoy. The Nordal Hotel has nice rooms, upgraded buildings and very nice breakfast with great view from the dining room windows. The rate is lower than the neighbouring hotels but this hotel is in my opinion slightly better. Not listed on Hotels.com, but who cares when you get this quality at a moderate rate, Dog-friendly (at no extra fee).

A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel «Nordal Turistsenter» is located in Lom. This hotel is located in the very center of the city. Before going to bed, you can walk around the main landmarks of the city.
