Another great stay at Westhaven. Always clean and tidy. Great location where absolutely everything is accessible by walking. Debbie is the greatest host in reception and always makes us feel spoilt. Restaurants and beaches are so close.

Fabulous location, beachside at Pilot Bay. Classic Kiwi motel that I suspect looks much like it did in the 1970s. Clean, tidy, spacious and functional. It’s not 5 star luxury with all mod cons, but nor does it sell itself as such. It had everything we needed for a great weekend away from home. The welcome at check in as as friendly as you’ll find anywhere. Off street parking. Free Wi-Fi. Easy walking distance to shops, cafes, beaches and The Mount. We’ve stayed at The Westhaven before and we’ll be back again.

Awesome old school motel, reminded me of the typical kiwi holidays when I was a child. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, motel facilities are nice and clean.Beach is right on your doorstep, we enjoyed our stay that we have booked again.

Our huge music group (41 students and 4 teachers) fit perfectly into Westhaven Motel. The rooms were spacious and clean with a fridge, cooking facilities, plenty of kitchenware. The beds were comfortable and well laid out. At night (once the students went to bed) it was very quiet and it was lovely to hear the waves along the shore. Debbie was a fabulous host and made sure we had everything we needed for an amazing stay. We will certainly be back next time we are in the Bay of Plenty.

This place is awesome and just what we needed for a night away at the Mount. A great old-school motel - clean, spacious and a perfect location meant that we could walk everywhere. Super friendly and helpful staff..and great value for money..could not fault it.  We will be back!

Had a wonderful stay, great location,  very friendly helpful  staff, comfortable,highly  recommend staying  here. Safe family environment,  with cooking facilities, walking distance  to restaurants,  shops, and a good climb of the mount.

We were badly let down by another motel that we had booked to stay in. We wandered upon this place and, as they had just had a cancellation, they managed to accommodate us. Debra was lovely and helpful, and we very much enjoyed our stay. Great value. 

A warm and friendly welcome to a comfortable unit (not luxurious) but it is located right by the harbour and a short amble to the town - with lots of excellent shops - and the ocean and a short drive across the harbour bridge to the city of Tauranga. Strongly recommend you try this accommodation 👍

This was a great find. The motel is a small family run affair and everyone us lovely. 

The room was of a good size and impeccably clean and tidy, having all the amenities you could want.

Location is amazing, right next to the beach and the bay, a 5 minute walk will get to shops and restaurants. 

Couldn’t ask for any more, will definitely be back!
