My family and I stayed 2 nights at the Bay of Islands holiday apartments- in the holiday cottages .  The accommodation is ok , however the BBQ needs to be repaired -it was rusted and not stable. The cottages need a good deep clean - there were stains on some of the furniture .For the amount we were charged I have higher expectations of cleanliness and amenities.  There was a distinct price / value mismatch . I recognize that our stay coincided with peak holiday time , however the price / value gap was too large .

Convenient location, but expensive for that it is .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bay of Islands Holiday Apartments.  The room was large and tidy, it was close to town and all the amenities, and best thing of all was that I could bring my dog.  Highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking to stay in Paihia.

GREAT EXPERIENCE - PETS CAN COME TOO!!

Park up here 6 or 8 times a year, best showers I have come across and always spotless, with repeat cleanings during the day. Lovely environment among the olive grove. Always look forward to coming back.

A fabulous campsite quiet and peaceful and beautifully maintained   The facilities are excellent and it is s perfect place to explore bay of islands   Jan made us so welcome and was the perfect host along with the lovey Oliver the Third (jans lovely dog 🐶 ) all in all a bit of New Zealand magic / thanks Jan 😄

PERFECT

We really enjoyed our time in this comfortable apartment, which was very well equipped and set in sub-tropical planting to give a wonderfully relaxed and private feel. Paihia was our first stop on a six week tour of NZ and this was the ideal place to unwind for a few days after a long and tiring journey from the UK
The site manager, Jan, was friendly and helpful on arrival and throughout provided tips to help us make the most of our stay
The location was perfect for us with just a short walk to the supermarket, beach and town. It is also just a short walk to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Our visit there to see the Māori cultural experience was a highlight and we went back for a second day (included in the price of the entry ticket). The staff were all super friendly and informative. Would also recommend taking the ferry over to Russell. The area around the ferry landing is pretty and has lots of options for a relaxing lunch overlooking the beach, but I would also suggest taking the 15 mins walk across to Long Beach, which is stunning. Also recommend visiting Otehei Bay on Urupukapuka Island, either as part of a boat trip around the islands or as a direct return ferry trip. I was very sceptical but the visit there was another highlight for us

Wonderful apartments in ideal location to enjoy Paihia and explore the surrounding area

I do not recommend staying here, there's much better places in Paihia. Here's the truth:
1. The apartments are actually connected to a campsite. It feels like you are at a trailer park.
2. Apartments do not fit the description and toilets are like being in a public hospital. The worst hotel toilet I've ever seen
3. Service is terrible - the lady at reception is nasty to customers.
4. Noisy - apartments/trailer park is on a busy road.

Our stay in a studio apartment met our every need. The studio was very tidy & practically set up with everything we needed.
The large bed we found extremely comfortable. 
We enjoyed being nestled in the bush away from the hustle and bustle! 
The location is great with the main swimming beach at the end of the road & lots of parking to walk into Paihia township. 
Jan the proprietor was extremely friendly, welcoming & knowledgeable on the surrounding area.

Comfy bush surrounded apartment!

Our 2nd stay and we will definitely return. We are a Mother and Son Family and always stay in the studio apartment. So comfy and clean. Nice decor. Has everything you could think of for our usual 5 night stay. You need at least that because there is so much to see and do around Paihia and the outer Northland region. Or do nothing. It's all here. Property is close to everything walking but away from the "main drag" to be quiet. Perfect for families. Peaceful bush outlook. 
Jan is always friendly and informative. Easy check in/out. Highly recommend!

Perfect Northland Holiday Spot

Location is close to town, apartments are great and have everything you need. Staff were really helpful to make sure we had all the info we needed for the local area, especially for places we could go with our dog. Highly recommend, would happily stay again when we are in the area.

Great pet friendly accomodation

The apartments are very close to the beach (5 min walking) and city centre (15 min walking). Surrounded by beautiful forest. Amazing balcony for a drink and observe the nature and sunset. However, the services are terrible, A/C not working properly. I tried to check-out 8am as the Booking info, there was no one to Check-out at that time, I called and they said only 8.30am. When the person arrived for the check-out we just gave the apartment key and that was it. There is no information for early check-out or late arrival.
