Luxury with a touch of home. We were made to feel very welcome and relaxed in this beautiful lodge with amazing views.  The bedrooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable.  We were welcomed with a tray of goodies and in the morning had a delicious cooked breakfast all for a very reasonable rate.

Relax with a view

We stayed in one of the new glamping tents on the property for a night. The tents are very well setup. The bed was super comfortable and the view was awesome. The deck out the front of the glamping tent is a perfect spot for a late afternoon drink and a lovely place to relax. I wish we'd been able to stay longer and hope to get back there again soon. 

Wonderful glamping experience

the best place to relax and unwind - a worry free holiday:). soak in the views, enjoy wine of the Marlborough region and chocolates.  We can be chilled.  We had our  adrenaline fix watching rare dolphins and birds at the Marlborough sounds.  Exhilirating scenic flights.  Their spot is perfect take off for the tranz alpine train and the scenic rail route - all organized by  Didith and Clark.  Food is better than the Michelin restaurants I have been.  Thank you to you Didith and Clark for such a wonderful stay.  We arrive as guests.  We leave as a family member.

a home away from home with perks of Blenheim

We were a group of 12 classmates most of whom had never been to New Zealand before. Our hosts Clark and Didith answered all our questions before our arrival,  made suggestions and facilitated every aspect of our stay patiently and professionally yet in a very endearing way which made us feel so special. The beautiful surroundings of their property served as the perfect launching ground for all our activities from hiking up Mt Vernon ( a short walk to the trail) visiting wineries, ecotours, plane rides and souvenir shopping. All were carefully curated by Clark’s deep knowledge of his beloved community. Not insignicantly too were the amenities of their property perfect for relaxing by the pool, jacuzzi or steamroom or even just watching the sun set. A well stocked kitchen which was always available, delicious meals cooked by the chef and opportunity for group bonding like  stargazing, zumba, karaoke or just endless banter around the long dining table. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to hosts that made our New Zealand experience memorable and made all of us feel like family. Can’t wait to return.

We came as guests, we left as family!!

The lodge is a good base to explore the region. Our group took advantage of this, joining a whole day tour of wineries and whale watching in Kaikoura. At the end of the day, the spa beckoned, and during our free time, we trekked the nearby Wither Hills Walkway. The lodge caters to varied interests, from nature tripping to savouring good food and wine (and for history buffs, there is the nearby Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre which features Sir Peter Jackson's collection of WW1 aircraft and artefacts). Owners Didith and Clark Figuracion gave us insider tips on the best places to go, and also prepared our dinners so every night was a great bonding time with family who flew in from various parts of the globe for this South Island holiday.



South Island haven and more

Our extended family of 10 occupied he whole house with 6 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. We took the option of having our friendly and gracious hosts - Clark and Didith - cook for us while we enjoyed he expansive and beautiful scenery of the hills and vineyards.  We relaxed in the jacuzzi and swimming pool and walked along the property with grazing goats and California quails wandering around. The house is artistically curated and strategically situated for wonderful views of sunsets and sunrises. Our hosts assisted us in securing transportation for our activities for the day. The property is 5.6 km from the Blenheim Visitor center off State Highway 1. There is a hiking trail at the edge of the property that leads to the top of Wither Hills with a panoramic view of Blenheim. There are more things that we could have done at the house if we stayed beyond the 3 nights we booked it for. Sadly we didn’t get to show off our singing (rain making) talents with the karaoke machine.

Hilltop Oasis

We stopped here for just one night, after taking the ferry from Wellington to Picton. The room was super, very comfortable and a marvelous view. Clark cooked us a delicious dinner with wine and dessert. Then we enjoyed the hot tub, steam room and pool! 

Next morning we had a gorgeous hike before heading out, rested and refreshed! Couldn’t be more delighted!

Perfect!

The Villa is an exceptional property, spacious, quiet and a great place to unwind. The views are to die for as it overlooks the vineyard and the farmlands below, showing the true beauty of Blenheim.
We all loved the swimming pool and spa as a place to cool ourselves from the very sunny heat. The living room was a bright place to relax with the magnificent and enormous mahogany dining table as its center piece.
The rooms were not only comfortable but also very luxurious.
It was a great pleasure to have stayed at the Villa. We had great time.

Spectacular view of Blenheim

Great place for a family holiday. We have been privileged enough to stay at the Villa. Gorgeous place and it only gets more breathtaking when you go around and explore it’s surroundings. Villa is full of great art. Pool and Spa is perfect and we enjoyed it the most. l. Beautiful atmosphere inside and outside in a great blissful location.
