B&B De Eindhovenaar

Very nice place to stay in the heart of Eindhoven city shopping district. There is an old church right behind the place with nice views of the church from the balcony. Ash tray is provided in the balcony, so that you can smoke if you are so inclined. This place feels like you are home, with spacious rooms, separate dining room cum kitchen, and a bathroom. This places gives a boutique experience, I think this is a one-off place. It is evidently clear that the person running this place takes a lot of personal interest and time in running this place well. There is a well-equipped kitchen, and the manuals of all kitchen equipment including the coffee maker is paced neatly in an accessible place. This is the first time I am seeing an apartment hotel coming with manuals of all the equipment. It was very useful. A lot of pots and pans and crockery is available, so cooking was very easy. There was also some coffee, tea leaves, salt, cleaning supplies etc. kept in the kitchen, so you don’t have to buy them. A chopping board was missing, but I guess it might be misplaced and we didn’t need it much. The place adds a lot of personal touch. You need to go to a restaurant across the road to collect the keys and you get a personal letter along with the keys. I could not meet the host personally, but we felt we were personally welcomed and well taken care of. No problems to mention. Please note this is not a bed and breakfast with host living there. It is more like a vacation home with all amenities. Even though the host does not live there, you can call or email if you have any problems. We had communicated over mail, and the owner responds quickly and goes the extra mile to help you.
