A fab hotel on water . We had a great 1 night stay here . The bed was comfy and it had everything you needed ! They served a good continental breakfast . It was cold out so I was worried about the temperature but the room was warm and cozy . The boat itself was moored within a 10-15 minute walk to the centre , so in a perfect location . We would highly recommend staying here .

A fab place to stay

Very strategic location and overall such a fun way to spend some days in Amsterdam. The rooms are tiny, yes, but you just need to sleep there, and the place has all the facilities you need to have a very comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and approachable :)

an experience

As the price was really inexpensive, we weren't sure what to expect, but we actually really enjoyed our stay there!
First, location is really great! 
Second, the shared areas are spacious and very cosy, it was a real pleasure to hang out in the lounge on the evening with all the other guests.
Even though the rooms are really small, they offer a good amount of storage, and a very useful sink. The only black spot is the upper bed, because it's really close to the ceiling, and even me (small 1,61m girl) didn't have lots of space to move in the bed. But it was still comfortable.
Showers and toilets are very clean!
Next time we come to Amsterdam, we'll come here for sure!

Positively surprised

Stayed here for 1 night with a group of 7 friends. Annie, our host, gave us lots of advice and recommendations on what to do, and where to eat and drink whilst in Amsterdam. 
Breakfast was great too.

Great spot to stay

Stayed in Amsterdam with a group of friends for 1 night on Passenger Ship Avanti.
We were looked after by the lovely host Anni. Spotless and warm place to stay.The location was fantastic and very central. 
Would definitely return.

Great Stay

Upon arrival greeted by what I would imagine was the captain of the ship, she was most pleasant and gave us all the run down of rules etc on the boat and informed us of breakfast times. Once working our way down the steep stairs to get to the bedrooms we were reasonably surprised. Certain reviews for this boat make it seem like a 	"nightmare" but it was nothing of the sort. For the price you pay it is very much worth it. Breakfast Good. Location Better. Experience Amazing. 

5 days on a boat

The reviews I had read worried me
A bit. However this boat was perfect for a
Weekend with friends. You need to remember it’s a boat. The rooms
Are small and the facilities
Are shared however it
Is very clean and very warm. Lovely sitting/dining area with tea/coffee
When you want it. Breakfast was cook your own but plenty of fresh food to enjoy. The people running the boat are lovely and very helpful. Location wise it is spot on. Easy walking distance to the town centre. If you want a quirky weekend come and stay here. A lot of fun in a fantastic place. 

Perfect for a weekend with friends 

Fred and Hannah the hosts are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent as you can cook it yourself. The rooms are cosy (very cosy) but still worth the price. Easy access to the city and station with great views . Don’t let the photos put you off

Cosy and very friendly

My friend and I arrived in Amsterdam for a short break in May, primarily for the Van Gogh and Vermeer Exhibitions taking place. As this was booked for me I wasn't aware of what staying in hotel such as this one entailed.  The people that owned the boat, (my apologies as I have forgotten your names); were friendly and the atmosphere was extremely relaxed.  I have never seen such a vast and wonderful breakfast, there was something for everyone and it set us both up for the day.  The dining area was a relaxed place, the cabins were small but clean and fairly comfortable and with the showers and loos at the end of the corridor were fine. The stairs were a challenge for me for this is not a hotel where, if you have issues with mobility, it is that accessible or easy to get about.  However, the experience was wonderful but I was so proud and chuffed that I managed to do this as in a few years time I might not able to do so.  I will never forget the Passengership Avanti. 

A wonderful experience all around

I went on a anti with my son … friendly atmosphere lovely day staff comfy beds cabins r very small but to use as a sleep base is perfect!. Will go bk as soon as I can find availability stairs down to cabins look scary but u do get used to them we stayed Friday til Tuesday fantastic value for money
