This hotel has comfortable spacey rooms and attached bathrooms for a low price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They can provide you with various services like storing your luggage, buying your busticket and giving you trekking advice and they have a good and cheap laundryservice. Moreover, the hot shower is really hot. We used this hotel as our base for in between trekkings and rafting. It was always an excellent place to come back for. It is conveniently situated in the middle of the tourist area at Lakeside Road. Therefore I highly recommend this excellent place.

Can't fault the Diplomat. Great location,  short stroll to centre of everything, yet set in a quiet lane. A taxi can drop you right at the front door. The room was first class,and the showers, hot. The owner extremely helpful in organising various trips. Very impressed

If you're looking for value, this is a good option in Pokhara. We've been there several times between Dec 23 and Jan 24. We booked fist for a 3 days stay. After treks or yoga retreat we came back to that same hotel where we feel being at home.
The owner, Bemdev, live on the premises. He's always willing to give advices and answer your questions.

Good value!

This hotel is like home. The owner and the family are very nice people, very friendly and helpful. Never hesitate to ask anything.
For Muslim this hotel is perfect bcs it's good for family and very near to Halal Restaurant, 80 meters. Near by the ATM and the Fewa lake.
Sometimes they will allow you to cook your own food in their kitchen. They also have lovely garden.
Just like home.
Will stay again for sure.

Best family in Pokhara. Their rooms have much more value then you pay. Recommend it to everybody. They also have a cooking class. They help you with pleasure with everything you ask.

Very good hotel

Excellent stay. Bamdev and Sandya are lovely hosts. Very friendly and informative and helpful. The hotel was super clean with very comfortable beds, hit showers, fan, opening windows with insect screens, spacious rooms, desk and chair.... everything. Thanks

It was amazing...this family is more then nice...hot shower, wifi, everything clean...Its also quiet and  they help you for everything...on the top you can the the fishtail mountain...for sure I will Come back

One of the best

Lovely place. I lived here every time when i'm in Pokhara before trekking or vipassana. Cozy and clean rooms (some rooms even with bath), nice views from the rooftop, friendly family, reasonable prices.  Not so far from the shopping, lake etc.

Home away from home! This hotel is runned by a lovely, warm and hospital family. The room is good with a nice comfortable bed, hot showers and a fan on the ceiling. Location is top, price is top. I loved the warm welcome when we came back from our trek, we felt like children coming back home. 
Sandhya gives amazing cookingclasses! I learned al the tips an tricks to make traditional Nepalese Dal Bhat and momo’s. She is patient and shows you how to do it, tells a lot about the products and ways to handle them and gives you room to practice. 
I will definitely come back here!!!

Love this place!!

The staff were all very friendly and helpful! The hotel is also in a great location, walking distance to anywhere in the city. Rooms aren’t the biggest but they’re clean and they look quite new. Would definitely stay here again!
