We stayed here for 2 nights as part of an Intrepid tour of Myanmar. It's a decent tour hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and the aircon was excellent. I slept very well and it was very quiet (floor 7). Staff were friendly. Breakfast was included and was fairly decent- eggs/omlettes, toast, fruit etc. Location is central in the city (a busy city!) and we easily walked nearby and found nice restaurants that our guide recommended (Indian street food near the mosque very close to the hotel). You would really want a tour or a guide for seeing Mandalay properly and preferably a vehicle for bringing you around as it's very hot and humid and quite busy. I was happy with this hotel. (Mandalay hill well worth a visit)!
