Just finished a two night stay Dec 2023 at the riad. We had two rooms a suite and a double. Well located close to the main entrance of the old city. Beautifully appointed cozy rooms with heating and cooling as per your needs. Excellent service from beginning to end. Breakfast is included with eggs made to order along with local bread, a fried donut kinda savory with unlimited mint tea and coffee.
As with all the riads you have to walk from entrance where the car drops you to the riad. They have porters to help you since it's a pretty steep climb with lots of steps. Excellent staff to help with all your needs from getting a wine delivered to money exchanged. To experience the Moroccan old town living staying in a road is second to none. Walking distance (well , no other way possible )to all locations in old city. Stay away from main square with all the restaurants , a tourist trip like no other with subpar food. Shout-out to all the staff. They were all great.

Cozy Riad stay

I had been to Chefchauen years before, in my backpacker days. This time I came with my wife, so we wanted a more sophisticated place to stay. Riad Dar Cherifa fulfilled all our expectations and more. 
We reserved directly via email and the communication was absolutely first class. The riad itself is beautifully renovated and decorated. All the staff were friendly caring, and very helpful throughout our stay. They arranged a transfer for us to return to Tangier, which was also top quality.
We could not be happier and will definitely return.

Wonderful experience

Beautiful and quirky riad in the medina of Chefchuen. The rooms are very tastefully designed and they have a fridge and kettle! The breakfast isn't amazing. They seem to offer an overcooked fried egg as the one and only hot offering, when other Riads we stayed in offered a boiled egg or omelette, etc. The TV in the room didn't work, and you have to ask reception for hot water in your en-suite if you want a shower in the afternoon.

Very convenient, albeit quirky riad in the heart of Chefchauen.

Chefchaouen is famous as the 'Blue Pearl' of Morocco, and it is truly stunning, but just as stunning as the town itself is Riad Cherifa. Wow, how beautiful is this riad?! I think we were all a little slack-jawed with amazement when we arrived to a most welcome cup of mint tea seated in the tranquility of the restaurant area near the small pool. I cannot describe how beautifully decorated the riad is, how crammed full of wonderful pieces of furniture it is, and how friendly, professional and efficient every member of staff is. I also cannot count the number of times I got lost trying to find my room - the riad is a bit of a rabbit warren! Never mind, it was a chance to explore again the lovely public areas. Our rooms were adjacent to each other and while not huge were very comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip, but we were troubled extensively by bees attracted to the honey and preserves. Serving these with covers would probably deal with that issue. Bees or no bees I wholeheartedly recommend Riad Cherifa. It is a feast for the eyes and perfectly located within this fascinating town.

What a Little Gem!

Best stay ever!  Hands down, this was one of the most memorable places that I have stayed.  The Riad itself was stunning - literally every area of the hotel was beautifully decorated, including our room.  The bed was super comfortable, the shower was luxurious and the breakfast was great.  I would absolutely stay again as it was one of the highlights of our trip through Morocco and Spain.

Exceptional Riad and Stay!

Hidden Gem inside the Medina!  The decor of the riad and the room is v impressive.  The breakfast was plenty and tasteful.  The staff were v supportive and helpful.  The roof top has a wonderful view.  Highly recommend.

Great Riad

We had a lovely time staying at this property. The staff is very helpful and welcoming and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect to get a feel fro this magical blue city.

Welcoming, relaxing and beautiful Property

Beautiful, comfortable and perfect place to stay a night in this magical city.  The decorations, the meal and mostly the feeling of truly experiencing a special Riad in the Blue City.  Would enjoy another opportunity to spend more time there.

Magical

We spent two nights at Riad Cherifa, our last new hotel of the nearly two week trip in March 2022. Like all others, our tour company booked the rooms and dropped us off. While Cherifa is near the medina, there isn't parking right outside the door. We had a short walk with our bags, but it helped us acclimate to Chefchaouen's lovely streets.

Our room was on the top floor, up some pretty but steep stairs. We had the rooftop patio to walk around, two beds, and an ensuite bathroom. One minor complaint was that our shower had no curtain. The water was warm and had good pressure, but we had to be careful. 

The room had lots of windows for natural light and looked out over the pool. Breakfast was served on the second floor and was delicious and filling. I would definitely stay at this riad again for the sunrise views alone. We were even able to start our Chefchaouen free "photoshoot" just outside the front door!

Quiet location, great rooftop views, wonderful service and food

Not only the best Riad in Chefchaouen, but in Morocco! The staff is very welcoming and the Riad is cute & clean. The rooms are spacious. It has a top roof terrace, super nice to spend time after walking the town, having a glass of wine.
