We chose this place based on the reviews and location, and both proved to be the right choice. The accommodation is rustic, which is in keeping with it being in a former Venetian pallazo, and we were right on the seafront, immediately by Perast Marina which, despite it’s name, is where local fishermen tie up their rowing dinghies. The place is well appointed, with a good kitchen and a washing machine, and there’s a well-provisioned mini market almost next door. The shower room is small, but adequate for our needs, and with plenty of hot water. The view from our window is sublime; we left the window and shutters open permanently, and while during our visit there were three weddings nearby, there was no noise after 11pm, only the lapping of the sea on the wharf below the window. Perast is a beautiful town where no cars are allowed (the big car park is 50m away), and is spoiled for bars and restaurants, from the really classy Conte Naituca, to superb pizzas at Bocalibre. Moreover, water taxis are available to take you to Kotor, and if you have a car, Perast is a perfect base to explore Montenegro. We loved it here, for countless reasons; planning to return next year.
