Great trip but delays at Pearson and Phoenix  airports.
Upgraded to AirCanda but that did not help.
People in Puerto Penasco were awesome, coudln,t have had a better reception
Marina Pinacate was a great condo stay with excellent staff, especially host Jesus

Great trip

We stayed here with friends while visiting them from the uk - the man at reception who booked  us in was very polite an friendly - we were on the 5th floor with great views across the ocean - I would have liked to be able to access the beach from the hotel although it’s only a short walk to the beach entrance - there is nothing to do at the the hotel or anywhere to purchase drinks or food which is a let down really - the pool area is immaculate and security are always keeping a check - the public pool was out of use on our last day but we were able to use the private sector’s one so that was ok - the condo it’s self felt rather dated an could do with a make over - I would have liked to have had our towels changed at least once during our 5day stay but they were not . 
Rocky point has a beautiful beach but that’s about all it has the town is very run down .

Beautiful beach resort

Great views, Pinacate renovated the Common Area it very nice. Great for families
Choice of condos or Villas depending on how many guests you have in your group. 
Good price & walking distance to restaurants.
Only complaint is can be nosy at night but after 12:00 is was quiet

No room cleaning service, same towel and sheets for a whole week
No staff working there knew anything about things to do or layout of the city!
No wash cloths available!
Oven door handle missing, unable to open!
Stove knobs missing.
Wifi not working in the rooms
Jacuzzi tub not working 
Remotes for TVs low battery or just plain didnt work!
Then they jacked up the prices after we arrived, 
WE WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS CONDO AGAIN!!

Been going to Rocky Point for over 20 years have always stayed at this resort, but it is getting really run down. The owners seem to be in it just for the money now and they don't care about the upkeep. We stayed in V201 this last time. Lamp was broken in the spare room and the other not far behind, the lighting in the spare bathroom was horrible had to go to the living room to apply makeup and do our hair
 When we went to use the dishwasher it flooded the kitchen. Stayed at a villa the year before #11 and it was just as bad. Beds were like rocks in both rooms and there was some kind of coffee machine I had never seen before. As far as V201 goes it's bad, yes you have the ocean view but the comfort is terrible. There is also a nightclub across the street Skullys.  The music starts at 900pm and they don't shut if off till 500am.hard to get sleep when your window faces it

Run down

This is the second time I've stayed at this resort.  Really no changes.  The area is IFFY at best, great for guys trip, but NO for my family.  Night time gets very sketchy in this area.  

Rooms vary based on each specific room, so make sure what room you are booking.  

WIFI==  horrible, two years, two different units, WIFI is horrible.  

TV:  had 4 channels?  didn't even turn on, whether that's good or bad, you decide.

No restaurants, no bar, but right across street you have both.  

GYM:  basic, not much there.

Condo was quiet, and inside the resort is quiet.  

Will again book my same unit next year for the guys trip, but will go to Sandy Beach with the family.

Nice Guys Trip

This condominium complex is a choice location in Puerto Penasco.   It get noisy and busy on the weekends, but otherwise is very tranquil and steps away from the beach.  We were hoping for a heated pool, but no luck.  However,  the grounds are lovely, and security is very strict.  Renters are not allowed to have pets, which is great, but owners now have dogs, which is a disappointment for us, especially when they don't clean up after them on the beach.  Some condos are nicer than others, but all are kept very clean by the hard working staff.
