This guesthouse is our happy place! My husband and I spent almost two wonderful weeks in here and felt like home. Wonderful accommodation with all necessary amenities, just excellent restaurant Black Anchor (very stylish) with delicious and various food, big portions that we never could manage to eat, perfect service, great atmosphere! The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the Sunrise beach and the port, and it takes 15 minutes to get to the Sunset beach in Thoddoo. The staff is utmost friendly and the owner is always there to assist in any question. Anna (the hostess) is very caring, we even got some little pleasant presents from her and the guesthouse, so we were surrounded with care and love and felt really welcomed! We would definitely recommend staying in this marvelous guesthouse when in the Maldives! 

A Happy Place

Thoddoois a psradice on earth… Everyone should visit it one in a lifetime… great food, people, weather, excursions… snorkling was great… with mantas, turtles and sharks…. Fishing with locals.. visitingvssndbanks and more and more……..

Dive villa experiance

Meg and my friend spend 2 nights in Dive Villa, they organized the boat for is, welcome is with fresh coconut drink. The decoration in the room was amazing. We had very good first impression. During our stay they cleaned the room daily, we got water as well. Nice common arra, you could make there coffe and tea. Everything is walking distance on the island. The beakfast alsó delicious, traditional maldives food and always with some fruits. The room was cozy and comfortable , look new and nice. :) B

Nice holiday stay in Dive Villa

My first trip and the choice fell on this cozy guesthouse. 

 What I liked:

 ✅ Welcome compliment from the GuestHouse and beautiful composition on bed - it was very nice
 ✅ Interesting stylized design of room and all place
 ✅ Neon lights in my room - I love it 😻 
 ✅ Clean, modern room and bathroom 
 ✅ Daily cleaning, everything you need is there: air conditioning, dryer in the room, wardrobe, refrigerator, TV, fan, sockets and adapters for them
 ✅ The most friendly administrator and staff, solve any issues along my stay
 ✅ Good location, very close to a small public beach, not far from the big beach
 ✅ There is a cozy "Patio" - a place where you can party with guests with free tea and coffee and wi-fi
 ✅ You can take a mask and fins for snorkeling for free, I did it first time here and I love it

 What I did not like:

 For the price I was satisfied completely 🫶🏽

Great experience 🤗

Terrible experience with the owner of the place, an arrogant russian called Anna. When I arrived at Male to take the boat to Thoddoo, first surprise: there was no reservation for me and my wife. Excuse me? Of course I previously asked for it with full details and had my request confirmed. Yes, she simply forgot to complete it with the boat. First try to solve the problem: phone call to the accomodation, using the only phone number available (found at Google), but they did not answer. New attempts to the only contact that worked, the owner's private WhatsApp number, no answers either. To sum it up, I had to show all my conversation with Dive Villa to the conductor to prove I had a reservation and be allowed to take the only boat available to Thoddoo that day. That was really really embarrassing. But the worst was yet to come: arriving at the accomodation, even though I had already paid for the full reservation, I was charged 12 dollars, for Paypal comission, which was applied to the owner PayPal account. What?? I explicitly asked her BEFORE the payment if there was any extra charge for Paypal payment and she said there wasn't! If she does not know about her relationship with PayPal, of course it is not my responsibility! I refused to pay and asked the poor manager, which could barely speak a few words in English, to tell her boss to talk to me, cause that was not right. Surprisingly, she did not do that. Instead, she asked her manager to charge me those 12 dollars again and again of the next days. That was unbelievable, cause I think the girl couldn't even understand what was happening. Then I decided to send the owner myself a message, asking why she did not talk to me about the issue. Her answer even more unbelievable: she said she lived in Europe and managed the place from there, because she was "a very busy person", so it was impossible for her to talk to me (!!!). Yes, I was talking to a very arrogant person. Even so, I politely wrote a long message to her, explaining the whole situation, highlighting I was feeling embarrassed to be charged for 12 dollars, highlighting I asked her previously to pay with Paypal, asking if there would be any extra charge, which she explicitly answered no, and arguing that was the reason why I did not feel comfortable with that extra charge. Then her answer was even more unbelievable. I will not comment it here in respect to Tripadvisor community. Well, in a nutshell, I highly recommend you to search somewhere else to stay at the beautiful island of Thoddoo.

Terrible experience with the accomodation owner

Nice place and very friendly staff. Recommended place in Thoddoo. Near everything in the island and staff helps with info where to go. Peacefull "general area" with coffee and tee options and a place for smoking :) .
