11 reviewsIf you’re looking for a nice R&R in a little township of Balik Pulau in Penang, look no further! I usually visit my mum who lives in BP once a year but didn’t know of this little gem set near the “kampung” village. It’s a really well appointed house with 3 lovely bedrooms. I booked the largest bedroom with ensuite which has a balcony. Good large space, bed and bathroom. The house is full of all kinds of books you’ll ever want to read. Mun the host is very hospitable and accommodating. She has several bikes for your use and beautifully hand drawn maps of the village. I went jogging two mornings into the padi fields and rode around discovering the area where not many cars go. Mun is very environmentally conscious and has activities such as yoga once a week and recommends trips to different community projects of interest. Mun served brekky of my choice each morning of hawker food! I’ll be back to stay here again. Thank you Mun for such a great experience.
