Away from the noise of the main road overlooking hills from the balcony. Room is tastefully designed with big open glass windows, so when you wake up it only takes you to look up&move the curtain to watch the sunrise. You can watch the sunset from the balcony on the upper floor. Clean& cheap (paid 70.000) definitely our favourite in town. With Tv and modern great working fan.

Stayed here for 2 seperate nights, rooms were clean and big. Personel was friendly, but during check out in the morning there was no one available at the front desk. However, writing a note was sufficient for checking out.

Best hostel in town!

Nice place

We stayed here about a year ago for 3 nights.  The best part about our stay?  The room was clean and the A/C worked.  The "interesting" parts about our stay -- beds hard as a rock (literally, it felt like sleeping on plywood, no give at all), no hot water -- and what water we did get trickled out of a handheld showerhead in the combined toilet/sink/shower room (as in all one room, no shower stall or tub), tried to charge us $x for each night rather than $x for the entire stay as was clear on our reservation, no servicing of the rooms for the entire stay.  One of the reasons we chose this hotel is because we wanted A/C, not knowing what the weather would be like in northern Laos.  In retrospect, I'd choose a different place and forgo the A/C.
