This hotel, or to say it better, private villa with bedrooms on a first floor, was a pleasant discovery on my first days of travel along Kenya's south coast. Privacy and security where consistently at a high level due to walls surrounding the mansion and discreet vigilance at night, to the point that even the name of the villa was not easily discernible and its position not generally known by locals.

In the secluded garden, hosting a pool with a twist and flair uncommon in more commercial venues, monkeys can be seen pacing up in the air between trees, attending their daily routine or eyeing with curiosity the human guests below. With a little patience they can be approached but remember that they are not shy of visiting guest rooms if they get too confident.

The personnel is always available and friendly, and a chef can be booked for taylor-made meals in the veranda. The coast is a few minutes away with kite rentals and a beach restaurant.

Excellent chief... The food was exquisite. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner by the pool. It's a very peaceful and beautiful villa, I enjoyed the morning welcome by the monkeys, had amazing walks on the beach. Rooms are clean and cozy .

Summer Bunnies Vacation. It was a home-away-from-home feeling. The pool is surrounded by nature, it was an amazing stay.

A party of nine, with a mix of adults and teens, we had a great stay at Coco-De-Ville. The house is well-located and spacious. There’s a lovely swimmingpool and the veranda is great for eating al fresco or lounging in the shade. The stunning, wide, white Galu beach is only a few minutes walk away along a lush access path that crosses the quiet Diani beach road. Diani’s restaurants and night spots are a few minutes taxi or tuk-tuk ride away and Ukunda air strip a 10-15 minute drive. The staff and host were very accomodating and helpful. All in all, a great house for a coastal getaway, suitable for groups of friends or families.

Great getaway at the incredible Kenyan coast

Arrived 3pm, after 10 hours drive tired and wet from sweat - room not ready so we arrive to a  Toilet clogged bathroom that's overflowing.mold all over taps and shower, sink tap not working, place damp and dirty. 

manager refused to help us change rooms after knocking on her door, she shouts "im taking a dump" and slams the door in our face. we ask a supervisor for help but the woman just yelled at us aggressively telling us not to be so sensitive.we asked her to come see the room but she refused to look. We beg hotel owner for help,he says we can have upgrade but then takes no action.he didn't care, he was all talk, he also threatened us to shut up stop arguing and said we would never get a refund if we tried to leave. 
They fixed the room up a little bit but honeslty our holiday felt ruined already. The outside bar toilets were also flooded and dirty with no lock and there's no breakfast options here. Another guest we met was having breathing problems and her clothes ruined all by the mold. They also have false promises to her for changing rooms. 

Then our shower wasn't draining properly, and our bathroom became a dirty swimming pool and leaked into our bed area. Finally, on our last day, the electricity went out. We packed and left in darkness and heat. Worst hotel ever.
Also miles away from anything...super far.

NIGHTMARE. If HELL was a hotel, this would be it. Don't stay here. Disgusting rooms and revolting staff behavior.

I planned my 2 week holiday at Coco de ville with my family and  friends and the experience was just amazing. The villa is beautiful and surrounded with lots of trees and a lush garden which makes the environment so calm and peaceful. They have a swimming pool, ample parking, great security  and its in a safe place.  Access to the beach is just 5 minutes away and safe to walk.
The staff were welcoming and very friendly and the owner of the place always ensured that we were well taken care off at all times. They strictly follow the covid-19 guidelines which was a good thing to note.  
The villa is a 7 bedroom house which is ideal for family & friends, small groups , etc  Services of a private chef are available  for those that need one during their stay.  I highly recommend this place  when visiting Diani and will be visiting again soon.
