This hotel is cheap and very local.
The service from the people is very friendly if you don't speak or understand the Kazachstan or Russian language.
With using your commen sense you will manage.
I used the set meals for breakfast and dinner and that's very good.
In the evening i didn't have warm water 💦in the shower.
On the site the hotel looks nicer than it is, still not to bad.
This is OK to stay for one day.


Totally local 

We basically needed a place on our way through, so location was not that important. That said, we did walk to dinner (1.5 kms away) over a nice pedestrian bridge, and afterwards for a walk to the river side. We do like walking.
Staff and service was ok, friendly enough (and in English). Comfortable, clean room. Smoking was allowed so do check rooms for possible lingering smoke smell. Wifi ok. Functional bathroom.
Breakfast was ok, not great. Off street secured parking.
Good value for money.

The reception staff did not appear to be aware of our booking via this web site. Showing the booking confirmation rectified this (fortunately there was a room available!). We were in town to visit friends, so didn't eat at the hotel, and cannot comment on the food. The staff were friendly, though the level of English was basic (even more so than our Russian!). The room was neat, clean & tidy, with effective air-con and a TV showing 2 English-language channels. The hotel is in a quiet residential location, between a main road and the river. On the Tuesday morning (about 2am), a coach arrived to take oil workers to the airport. The coach remaind on tick-over below our window for about 30 minutes, and those joining it showed no sympathy for those of us trying to sleep! Overall: Good value for money, good location, comfortable. Disabled visitors should note that wheelchair access us via 2 channels cut into a VERY steep flight of steps...

Quiet location, comfy beds.

So you've got to go to Atyrau on business, probably because your employer is linked to the oil and gas industry. You've noticed that the flight to Atyrau from Amsterdam is expensive and the well known hotels are exorbitant. As this hotel has a web presence you may have noticed its rates are more civil.

I stayed for a week and I slept well. The room was run-down but not alarming. Staff were distant but not rude. 

Breakfast is poor - don't bother. 

The hotel location is quiet and out of the way - use taxis or transport laid on by your employer.

Reasonable hotel

I always have to stay here as this is the hotel right near our office in Atyrau - 5 minutes to walk. And that's about 3 bucks to get a taxi anywhere around. The hotel is soviet type with poor breakfast but is okay for 75 dollars a night including this very breakfast. The staff is friendly, room is very simple, conditioner works perfectly, couple of English channels. I thought I was the only one in the hotel as I was eating alone all the time. You can get room service but I did not have dinners there. There is a both robe and flip-flops in the room, bottle of water as a daily compliment. Again, nothing speacial, all you need and nothing more. I heard zhilgorodok (district name) was rather dangerous but it's ok as long as you use cheap city taxi.
