Rush Atyrau Hotel

A pleasant hotel located on the 2nd floor above a Pizzeria. The staff were very friendly and the owner's Grandson spoke excellent English. I was using my Netbook with Google translate to make myself understood until he showed up. I needed secure parking for the bike and they have a Car Wash Garage opposite where my bike was securely locked away for the 2 nights I was here. The food in the Restaurant on the 1st floor, above the Pizzeria, was excellent but they don't understand "Dessert" nor do they have any vegetables to speak of. You can order a salad but I prefer hot food when I'm travelling as cooking kills bugs. My only criticism is that you should stay away on a Saturday night. Karaoke echoes through the building like a tormented ghost and there was a party of some sort that seemed to involve juggling billiard tables directly above my room. In the UK we have a curfew of 23.45 and they could do with that here as the noise went on past when I was asleep (with earplugs in).
