close the entire "hotel" at 6pm, don't allow check-in after 6pm.. 
this is unheard of for an hotel. either you allow check-in until 8pm at least or don't call yourself an hotel.
we were almost left without a place that night.
they didn't agree to refund either..
(notified us via email one same day of check-in, didn't call even).

Clean, friendly staff and lots of restaurants nearby!

The shower rooms are brand new. It's wide and clean. The room has a small TV and Futon mat. The floor is barrier-free. Also, the restroom is clean.

Great overall experience, would recommend for anyone staying in the area. Simple, clean, and comfortable Japanese style room. Accomodating for when I had to extend my stay one night from a cancelled ferry.

Great property which is very clean and has good facilities. One thing to note is that check in closes quite early and there is no elevator.

Staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful but the language barrier was problematic until speaking with management.   We missed our first night and initial conversations made it appear they no longer held our reservation for the 2nd night.  Eventually we were told to check back 4 hours later but spent the day wondering if we had accommodations.   In the end, all worked out.  It was a great place and we'd all happily stay again in the future.

This minshuku was easy to find, close to bus service (airport, Ambo Port \ access to Kitasugi and small/quaint Kusugawa onsen.  Amenities includes a nice kitchen with essentials including stove, microwave, utensils, pots and pans.  Good location.  Can be a bit noisy in early morning and then there is the public address system- ha! Played eidelweiss every morning.

The property is new and clean, comfortable for family to stay

I got own room for 10days. It was really nice value.
But futon bed makes little bit back pain. Other than that location is good and convenient for move around all island.
A-Corp is 10 minutes away. Bus stop for 
Gyomonsigi,shiratani unsuikyo
is 5 mins away.
