2mins walk from train station, with lots of restaurants around. The hotel has a small car park but must be pre-booked, or park in the train station with discounted fee. Though it is not in Tokyo, the room is still pretty small, I can only open my luggage behind the door.

Hotel closed to train station in reasonable price

The location of the hotel is very good. The breakfast is not buffet style. It is fresh cooked. The rooms can be small, but i guess that is normal for Japan buisness hotels for that price.
You can get different styles of pillow at the reception.

Buisness hotel with very good location, nice cafe

I stayed alone at this hotel for business. It is located very close to the JR Utsunomiya Station and convenience stores, such as seven eleven and Lawson, and many restaurants are also close, and thus it's very convenient.  But, it's a typical business hotel with nice small rooms.

The Good: Location, restaurant, staff

The Bad: older, small, must turn in key when going out

This is an economy hotel right by the train station. The outside and lobby are nice. The restaurant is very nice for breakfast or dinner with a French theme to the place. The room shows its age but it is a decent size for Japan. 

The staff is friendly but they demand you give your key to the deal if you go out at night

The Road Word:  it's worth the walk from the train station, more if you are on a budget. 

Location, Location, Cheap

The location from Utsunomiya station was too close to miss the entrance. Very convenient. Convenience stores, Seven eleven and Lawson, are close to the hotel and you can find many restaurants. Hotel staff are very polite and nice. On the other hand, the room is not only so small but so dry that I hurt my throat. I seriously recommend you buy a surgical mask at the convenience store. I recalled this kind of room was typical Japanese businessman hotel about 15 years ago. You can be a real Japanese businessman staying at this hotel.
