The people here speak varying levels of English and were helpful. However if you expect full guide of the island the information building at the Harbour is still the best.

 Loved my Japanese room, and the place was spotless. It can cater for variety of guests including snorkelers and divers, and room comes with balcony to dry your clothes (dive gear outside with freshwater basins for soaking). 

The breakfast was great, and optional dinner was even better (you need to ask for this). It's okinawan style home cook cuisine and portions are tasty and large. If you have any allergies just tell them (I used Google to help translate). Would stay here again just for dinner! Dinner and breakfast changes daily. 

Great time and food. 

The room, shared toilet and bathroom are very clean. The owner avoided talking to me as I can't speak Japanese. Not so helpful when I was checking with them what activities are available at the island.   They are very friendly with the Japanese tourists though. Seems like everyone is here for diving.  (Very helpful staffs at the tourist information counter at the ferry terminal. I only found out about them on the second day).
My room is facing the side of a popular restaurant which opens till 12am. The exhaust from the kitchen is outside the balcony.  Imagine the smell!  I did not use the aircon as the noise was too loud. 
I will give a 4* if I'm staying on the row of rooms facing the sea and 5* if the owner is more friendly. 
Oh, and my beer in the shared fridge was taken by someone!  Write your name or room number if you are putting anything in a shared fridge. 

Clean but I don't like my room

it was a last min booking  . it was the only place on the island that let us book that day  , friendly staff. chilled out vibe. clean . AC was a plus. nice outside lounge area for smokers . its not fancy  but definitely good enough for a place to rest after a day of diving . I will go back there next time

Had a really nice stay at Sendaron! Nice tatami room with futon, Japanese style, almost only Japanese guests, very traditional, also traditional Japanese breakfast option. Helpful staff, got free towels when needed, have a free washing machine, all you have to do is buy washing powder for ¥50 cents. Recommended for a nice classic Japanese stay.
