Shinmei Onsen Yumoto Shigishima

We enjoyed the traditional Japanese Hospitality for 3 days in late March 2005. The hot spring baths were wonderful & the experience of having a Hot bath in the open with snow falling on you was exhilarating. The food was delicious & the fresh fish caught in the river was served to us for dinner was so scrumptious that we gauged our selves with these delicacies. The rooms were great & we loved playing cards until late at night. The staff were very helpful & kind. They offered us many helpful tips which made us enjoy our stay. I have kept it in my mind that I will visit this hotel again with my wife & daughters. The approach road was very scenic & a comfortable drive. Unfortunately some of the best pictures I had & the negatives have been destroyed. I am sure that many others have enjoyed their stay here but not written to TripAdvisor. I think people should commend such a place even later than never.
