28 reviewsThis is a traditional, family owned small ryokan. A very good location close to Nikko Tosho-gu. It's a 10 minute easy walk. If you are looking for a traditional ryokan experience this place is perfect for you. The building is dated and no fancy amenities but the staff at this ryokan goes above and beyond to help your stay comfortable. They will pick you up and drop off at the station. Just make a call when you arrive at the station (make sure to clarify JR or Tobu railways) They have public bath with natural hot springs. No private bathtub in your room so just be aware if you are not familiar with Japanese onsen ryokan. The food is great both dinner and breakfast and again, the staff is great taking care of you. Good for families with small children too. I would definitely recommend this ryokan.
