Our room had the biggest hotel bed I've ever seen. It was great! The room itself was large and comfortable. We could see the forest directly across the street, so there was no noise. We rented bicycles there and spent the day cruising. Everything was easy. There are several restaurants on site and breakfast can be taken if one chooses. We didn't this time, but we did eat our last night's meal in the lounge area while enjoying a live cello performance. The pasta was tasty and included more than enough tender and juicy beef chunks...which came as a surprise. There is an indoor/outdoor onsen for men and women which was a plus. Nearby the hotel is a bakery and a very well-stocked supermarket. Lastly, the hotel is only about a 15-20 minute walk from the station.
